My hubs and I have been married 24 years. First marriage for us both at 40. We have 2 kids still at home. I knew when I met him that Golf was his life. I like golf but don’t play. I like to go with him occasionally but it ends there.
Never have I ever said a thing about the hours he practices or plays. NEVER ! Lately he spends 2 hours a day at the range, comes home and sits until he goes to work. Every day, without fail.
I haven’t worked in over 20 years. He retired from his 40 year career, last year. Now he works 22 hours a week at the club for “ free golf.”
Lately, I’ve just had enough of listening to his golf stories, plays and basic BS. I may be at home but I am very busy keeping up with a big house and 5 acres. He does nothing but bring the garbage out to the curb once a week.
I asked him a few weeks ago to cut back on the practice. You would have thought I asked him for his 401k and Stocks, all to myself. “ Nope, I enjoy it and I’m not going to stop because you ask me too.”
As I said, I’ve never asked him to stay home in our entire marriage. I’ve been so upset these past few weeks over the fact that golf has the number One spot in our life. I had surgery last week and wasn’t feeling well when a scheduled work visit came knocking on the door. He knew I didn’t feel well, yet he went to the club and left me home to handle the workers. I could barely get out of bed. Nothing, I mean NOTHING stops him from his golf time.
I don’t want him to quit playing, I would never ask him to do that. I would like him to cut back a bit and do something that I would enjoy once in awhile.
Am I being a hard core bitch ? 25 years without a word but now, it’s All My fault. Let it go, should I go ?
I'm looking for opinions on these grips (http://www.bwgrips.com/cms/hybrid). I have the GolfPride TourWrap 2G's and I love them. I don't have a problem with moisture. I also like the white grips as they stand out when you lay them on the grass more than black ones (probably why I've never left a club behind).
Seems most people I talk to and mention these two say Black Widow are crappy grips, others just don't know. Anyone out there use these?
NYC and all its wonderful and weird quirks was always a part of Sex and the City. They were always gong to new and interesting (and sometimes painfully trendy) restaurants (the S&M one, the naked one, Bed, etc.). Charlotte's art shows, other ones, like that one with the knives. Cabs were even a big part of the scenes! I'm disappointed that there's no attention paid to NYC at all in this reboot.

Charlotte: Harry told me that it had closed when he tried to go for lunch the other day.
Carrie: What? I just walked by there last week, it was open! Aw man...
Charlotte: How about Pastis?
Carrie: Oh god I can't eat there AGAIN.(inside joke; Pastis was always pimped in SATC)
Miranda: You know what's still open? The diner.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
