Hey all, just wanted to share a recent experience I had with Civic merino briefs. For some brief (pun intended) history, I purchased one of their boxer briefs at their tibuk2 pop-up shop back in Sept. I found it really nice and comfy to wear so I was pretty happy with my purchase and planned on buying more later.

Move on to a couple weeks back, both of the legs started to show rips. I do wear these frequently, at least every other day with a hand was in between (using Dr. Bronners diluted with water). I reached out to them via email asking if they had some kind of warranty (figured $50 is a lot to spend on underwear that rips this quickly) and they responded stating they don't take returns of undergarments. I understand that, but I figured they would want to guarantee the quality of their product and would be willing to replace them for me. I had a similar issue with unbound and their t-shirt and they immediately offered to replace it for me.

With all that said, I don't think I'll be shopping with Civic anymore. Not saying this is indicative of the rest of their gear, but if they're unwilling to stand behind their products I'm out.

So about a week ago I told my wife that I was attracted to men as well as women. I posted about it here afterwards and about how I was a little confused by how easy she seemed to be taking it. Someone suggested "did you actually say the word 'bisexual' ?" To which I replied "no, I didn't say 'bisexual' but I said I'm attracted to men and women and I cited examples of men I found attractive."

Okay so fast forward to yesterday... my wife was drawing something that involved straight lines and I said something along the lines of "those lines are so straight! I'm not straight, but those lines sure are." ...I thought it would be a good gauge of how her processing of the whole thing was going (how do you measure one mans attraction to another? With a gauge! Ayyyyyy sorry, brief pun detour.) So she says, "wait what do you mean you're not straight?!" After I blank stared for a bit in a brief moment of panic, I said, "remember last week when I told you I find myself attracted to men as well as women, but that we agreed I wouldn't pursue relations with anyone else regardless, since we're in a committed monogamous relationship?" She said, "yeah but you didn't mention the B word!" Sigh. Right. Totes.

Luckily, she seems to still understand. She said something like "well if being attracted to both genders makes you bi then I might also be bi!" Then she said, "I can't handle all this right now, it's too much" so we left it at that.

So here's some coming out advice: be sure to use the B word. I'm going to be introducing more concepts to her as we progress... I'm trying to not suddenly act super into men but I also would like to not have to pretend that I didn't come out to her when I did. It's been a very interesting pride month so far! Thanks to everyone who has been so keen to help confused newcomers like me. :)

September 2025, Lower Saxony Germany

Alright gentlemen let's make this brief (pun intended)! Today we are going to push back the Russians after months of slowly but surely losing ground to them. 2 days ago we crossed the bridge at Schwarmstedt and have set up a FOB as a staging Point to assault the rest of the bridges along the river Aller to allow our German allies to across the bridges so they may liberate German territory. We will take every bridge from Schwarmstedt to Celle securing each bridge on the way. Resistance will be stiff so we have aquired some Bradlies from the 15th mech. to support our push. We must be swift and should avoid being bogged down if possible and take Celle ASAP before the Russians bring in some reinforcements. On the note of liberating Germans, yesterday a German special forces team under the callsign of "Secret Hamster" was inserted into the area around Celle. They were captured and are being held in the Chateau at Celle. We must save them before the Russians kill or move them deeper into their territory. Save those men and take those bridges. The entire operation and the lives of those Germans is in your hands. Godspeed gentlemen.

It’s only a few days past our global launch, and there are already millions of you playing Battlefield 2042. We’re happy to see so many of you back on the battlefield - almost twice as many at this point as our last release. So first, thank you to all of you - how you’re playing and what you’re creating in the game is amazing and beyond our expectations.  We’re also listening closely to your feedback which is helping to shape updates to come.

We couldn’t be more passionate about this game and will be supporting and evolving it for years to come. We have confirmed at least two major game updates in the coming weeks, and we'll be here communicating consistently about the changes we are making, as well as new content coming to Battlefield 2042.The teams across the globe are working 24/7 to evolve and deliver improvements to the game. Since launch we’ve made a number of service updates that have improved server performance as well as the vaulting and restoration of content not performing in line with our designs.

We also want to give you the assurance that we’re carefully evaluating your desire to see legacy features return. End-of-match Scoreboard, Server Browser, and features like Voice Chat are big topics for us to cover all at once, and we have plenty we want to say around them.  We’ll come back to you when we have things that we can show to you, including details about our long-term vision for certain features and functions.

Now, let’s focus on what is coming. We’ll be delivering Update #2 for the game on Thursday, November 25, followed by a further, substantial Update #3 in early December. We are also working on another update that we are looking to deploy in advance of the Holidays too. In addition to the updates that are coming, we’ll also be sharing more about Season 1 in early 2022.

I find myself in a difficult position that I’m hoping some of my fellow feds could possibly share some advice and wisdom on improving.

I am ambitious in my career aspirations. I routinely get high marks on evaluations and received 4 separate special act awards last year. I feel that I have a lot to offer the government in a leadership role in the future, however I struggle considerably with briefing.

When required to brief, or speak up in a conference meeting, my heart races, I sweat, I speed up my words to nervous rambling levels, my leg begins to spasm, and I become so overwhelmed that I often forget to brief information that I prepared. I am determined to overcome this phobia, and would like to hear how some of you addressed this issue. Thanks

Bloomfield confirming

flight from Germany via Dubai to Auckland, then charter to ChCh.

Positive test result reported on the 13th.

One other case already confirmed from that flight is Delta strain.

Urgent Genomic testing on all border cases.

If there's an Omicron case, everyone on flight and in hotel will be considered close contact and do 14 days MIQ. That is the interim approach and what they are doing here.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says the decision was made based on the province’s epidemiology.
