A list of puns related to "Small Business Administration"
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 41%. (I'm a bot)
> Beginning April 6, small businesses and non-profits can apply for up to 24 months of relief, with a maximum loan amount of $500,000, the Small Business Administration announced Wednesday.
> The previous limit for such businesses was six months, with a maximum loan amount of $150,000.
> "More than 3.7 million businesses employing more than 20 million people have found financial relief through SBA's Economic Injury Disaster Loans, which provide low-interest emergency working capital to help save their businesses," SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman said in a statement.
> These loans are not forgivable, unlike EIDL Advance loans or money lent through the Paycheck Protection Program.
> Eligible small businesses and non-profits can apply for loans through the end of the year and may continue to request additional funds even after the Dec. 31 deadline, according to the SBA.The SBA to give guidance on topping up loans.
> Businesses that previously received loans but would like to be considered under the new guidelines do not have to take any immediate action, the SBA said.

Hello /r/personalfinance,
I am one of the latest victims of identity theft. On Saturday I received a bill from the Small Business Administration for a loan that I did not request to a business that is in my name that I did not create. I've alerted the SBA of this and they are working on terminating the loan claim. I've also froze my credit with the three major US reporting bureaus. Now I need to create a fraud alert with Experian, contact the inspector general of the SBA to file a claim there, contact the Social Security admin, and file a report on identitytheft.gov. After this, I'll send all this information to a local police precinct.
Is there anything else I can do to prevent someone from using my information and potentially destroying my credit? My score right now is at 785 and I've never had a late payment on anything.
Introduced: Sponsor: Rep. Dan Bishop [R-NC9]
This bill was referred to the House Committee on Small Business which will consider it before sending it to the House floor for consideration.
Rep. Dan Bishop [R-NC9] is a member of the committee.

So I applied for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) on March 31st which offered quick relief in a form of a loan and 10k forgivable grant.
So the government backtracked and said the 10k Grant is only 1k per an employee. Iβm self-employed with no employees so now itβs only gonna be 1k instead of the 10k, still better than nothing.
So today I got an alert that someone pulled my credit and it was the small business administration. Hopefully thatβs good news!!!!
Wish you guys best of luck at these times and remember pay your debts off and donβt let compounding interest kill ya.
