A list of puns related to "Hosel"
Does anyone know the hosel size of a Mid Sur? Could I put the shaft from my NP2 into the mid sur hosel? Thank!!!
I have been playing golf for about 4 years and got fitted for a set of TaylorMade M2 irons when I started. However, nearly all of my irons have at one point broken at the hosel. I donβt know if itβs something in my swing or if I got a bad set from TaylorMade. I am pretty tall, so my clubs are lengthened an inch and they are fitted with a stiff shaft if that is any help. Theyβve broken both on the range and on the course. Any ideas?
I recently pulled out my old high school clubs after more than a decade for some casual driving practice, and noticed a sort of fissure at the base of the hosel on my driver. I recall it being there before, but never paid it much attention, and it seems to have a slight amount of corrosion that I hadn't noticed then.

Seems a silly question, but is this an enormous issue? Is it a matter of "it will impact the flight of the ball" or "it could snap off in use and fly downrange/into someone's lap?" I tentatively used it a bit and the crack didn't seem to worsen, but if I'm better off buying a new driver (for safety reasons above anything else) I'd rather be sure. Thanks!
Edit: Thanks everyone! It's definitely getting retired at this point. The local range is absolutely packed most of the time, and I'm terrified of rocketing it into some poor bystander's face due to my own negligence.
Hi there π I just recently purchased a Callaway Rogue driver and was wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue with the hosel. Whenever I change the settings on it and go to put the head back on, I never hear that famous click? Am I not tightening it enough? Or does this hosel just not click like most other drivers? Thanks!
I am looking at doing some work exchange stuff this summer and wanted to know if the green tortoise hostel is a good hostel. Has anyone worked there or stayed there? How is it overall?
Iβm looking to get a blade style putter without a plumbers neck hosel. Scotty Newport 2.5 is the style Iβm looking for, but I want to try the style before buying a scotty.
Just happened to me today. It had started to look like when a ferrule is coming loose on an iron and thought it was ok. Turns out the shaft was actually slipping out of the hosel. Ping G410 LST. Luckily the shaft tip just came out clean. No broken or lost parts. Hit one drive at the range today and the head went flying nearly 100 yards.
My question is for those who've had this happen, do you just re-epoxy it into the hosel (there's even a notch that makes it easy to align it correctly) or would that void the warranty? If you go warranty claim... how was that process? Any major hassles with paperwork, etc. Super long delays?
