A list of puns related to "Consignment Shop"
I'm looking for something that isn't super specific like Plato's Closet. A consignment shop in my old town had more of a drop-off system rather than someone who would pick through everything and buy two things. Does such a place exist in Sioux Falls? Thanks in advance!
Looking for places in the Cincinnati area with fairly good quality pieces and/or vintage clothing from high end brands. Iβm also a young adult looking for fun pieces and everyday items
Where would you recommend trying to sell a violin in the $16-18k (insurance appraisal is >$20k) range on consignment in the US? I'm specifically thinking of shops in metro areas that attract a lot of foot traffic, or have a strong web/shipped trial presence, and that move a lot of inventory around the advanced student/pre-professional level. I'm most familiar with the shops in NYC/Boston and am currently planning to target a shop in Boston (CHV), but just wanted to hear if there were highly recommended alternatives I should consider since I haven't been to any of the shops in DC, Chicago, LA, etc. Thanks!
(I just bought an incredible contemporary violin that I can't wait to share here!)
Can anyone recommend some consignment and/or thrift spots in Raleigh for clothes and shoes?
I grew up here but have been away the past couple years and thereβs a lot thatβs changed so Iβm hoping thereβs some new places. Both casual and high end places are okay, but I only really know FiFiβs in Cameron Village and Revolver on Glenwood for higher end stuff.
Im looking for any consignment/pawn shops in the Bay area/ Sacramento area to purchase a firearm, do yβall have any recommendations?
Hi- Does anyone know of consignment shops that take kids clothes? I know there are a few in Brooklyn but I am unable to travel atm. Thank you in advance.
Hi all! Looking for a consignment or thrift shop that would be interested in buying women's office clothes. Nothing super high end, but lots of Anne Taylor/LOFT, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, etc. to get rid of. Cash preferred but if somewhere offers store credit only, I would prefer a place that has a lot of family selection, not just women's!
Iβm looking for good thrifting spots for clothes and jewelry, preferably something that targets a variety of age groups as Iβm 19.
And are there any American Pickers style places where you just go to an individualβs property and chat about their life collectibles and barter for the best price on an old gum ball machine? Or like, 1800βs farm equipment? Just examples but Iβm hoping to enjoy a day of going from place to place and finding some interesting stuff and chatting with some interesting people.
Iβve seen a lot of recommendations for consignment shops but most seem to be more thrift shops with mostly clothing. I really like the Find on 6 and Second Helpings in Bristol was awesome before they closed. Hoping someone has some good recs outside of the Providence area. Thanks!
Anyone ever take a consignment shop to small claims court?
Basically itβs been half a year and this consignment shop that sold some of my stuff hasnβt paid me out. (over 2k)
Does anyone have any good experiences with places to sell items on consignment? Not clothing or jewelry.
I am not sure if any pawn shops in town do it, I know Welsh doesnβt.
Thanks Iβm advance.
Where can I sell old gear? Preferably to a store so I don't have to deal with Craigslist weirdos.
Thanks
Hi all!
I'm beginning the search for my dress for a winter '22 elopement. I don't really want to spend more than $1,000 considering this will be an elopement with just us 2, but still really want an elegant gown that screams 'bride' (no Lulus, etc). I live in Florida and was able to try on some nice gowns at a BHLDN pop-up, but they only brought a handful with them.
I will be up in NYC next month and figured I should use that time to look around. I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for budget-friendly shops in NYC or Brooklyn, or even any great consignment shops that would have bridal options. There was one shop I found online, "Our Story Bridal", which seems to be exactly the type of thing I'm looking for, but they closed during Covid.
Any suggestions are much appreciated!
I have a ton of clothes I need to get rid of. I've tried Poshmark and Mercari but it's kind of time consuming. FB marketplace is dead. Has anyone had any luck with any local consignment shops? I want it out of my house but can't afford to just donate it.
Edit: I tried Plato's closet years ago. It wasn't a great experience. I'm looking for a local consignment shop this time!
