I've never bought buttermilk before, I just recently purchased it to make something from my D&D cookbook. Yesterday, I made some cookies for the first time and had to buy some eggs. Sadly, I couldn't find a six-pack at dollar general, so I had to buy a dozen instead. After the cookies, I have only one stick of butter left.
As stated, I've never bought buttermilk before, so I have no clue what to do with it. What else can you use it in?
As for the eggs, I don't know of too many things to use those in either. I would like to use them before they go out of date, which could be hard since I have so many.
For other ingredients I have laying around, I have some flour, baking soda, and backing powder. I'm running low on sugar, and I don't think I have any white sugar left. I may have some vanilla extract left, but I'm not sure. I also have a large canister of salt. And of course, I have some 2% milk, though I was thinking of using that with some pancake mix I bought.
Given what I have, what can I do with this buttermilk and all these eggs? I would prefer to not have to go out to buy more stuff just to use these things before they go out of date.
