There are some it's totally cool to pick, but please don't dash thru any of them, and leave the ones around houses & downtown alone. The pickable stuff is underneath the trees & against the cliffs.
Spare fruits are on the cardboard boxes west of the airport, spare items (mostly fossils) are on the beach sand east of it & spare DIYs are on the sidewalks around the shops.
Since Celeste is involved, PLEASE CHECK YOUR BATTERY!! Getting her to show up on that mountain lake island is a pain. If you disconnect (watch out for the power button when you change volume!) or your Internet connection is so cruddy a communications error happens, it wrecks things for everyone & makes me not want to host.

Saharah is contained on Kanikapila Beach, just to the west of the airport. She's selling a white chocolate wall, western desert floor, monochromatic wavy rug (large), tatami mat (medium) & small simple orange mat (small). Those items are on my front lawn right in front of the airport, if you just want to CATALOG them. That means put them back down once you've picked them up.
Shop as you like, gather beach flotsam, rock bits, pumpkins, balloon-dropped presents, bugs, fish, go diving, enter buildings...just please don't shake down the orchards or destroy the flowers. If you need lots of fruit or picked blossoms to craft things, ask! I probably have some extra in inventory. If you need wood/bamboo, let me know and I'll take an axe to my forests.

Shoving Saharah to the beach is a severe pain, and if your battery dies, you lose connection or your Internet can't handle all the peer-to-peer traffic it can disrupt everything by resetting her location. I block people who 'leave quietly' with no explanation. Get OUT of dialogue/dressing room for flights. In general, please don't be a jerky-lurker.
