A list of puns related to "Razor Clam"
Recently moved here and would like to try my hand at catching some Razor Clams. The problem is I only have my tiny sedan(nissan versa). Is it required to have an AWD or a 4WD to drive on these beaches or is there an option to park on some hard concrete and walk the rest of the way? I have no problem with walking but its gotta be something feasible and not like a 3 mile hike to the beach.
I forgot to mention I will be heading to Long Beach if its possible to take my sedan.
Also any groups here head there often? Im new here and as of now ill be getting my gear and heading there on my own.
Edit: Thanks All for the info!
Hey guys, i came across a video of Burnt leek and razor clams. Itβs not possible to see what kind of other ingredients they use in the recipe. Does anyone know what kind of sauce or other tastes matches with this food?
Anyone know if razor clams are found only on the Bay of Fundy side, or might they also be found around here? I have done a bit of clamming at Rainbow Haven and Three Fathom Harbour but never found any razor clams.
If they are around here, I would appreciate any tips on where to look. For instance, I'm not sure if they are commonly in the intertidal zone after the water fully recedes, or if I should be looking closer to the tide line where it's still fully wet. Or for that matter if I'm at the right mudflats. :)
So, story time. About two weeks ago, the B string on my guitar snaps, I love that guitar and donβt want any harm to come to it, so to remove and uneven pressure on the neck, I remove all of the remaining string. I order new strings and wait. Cut to yesterday, I go diving for clams in the breachway near my house, I happened to dig upon a razor clam, which is sharp, and when I tried to grab it, it sliced into my middle finger. I ignore it and keep pulling up clams. Later, I go home and find an Amazon package on my doorstep, it finally came! My guitar strings! Too bad I canβt fucking play because that motherfucking razor clam sliced my finger.
Can I dig razor clams at any of the beaches in sf?
