This performance absolutely rocked my world and i was very sad to see that its no longer on youtube, i was wondering if there was any other way to watch it again myself and my roomates would be verry greatfull if anyone could throw us a bone, peace and love.
Hello, all! At my local AZA accredited zoo they have a teen program in which teens 15-18 have the ability to work directly with zookeepers and animals in different animal areas.
For the past 2 years in this program, I have been working with small reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and birds, however, I found out that starting in June I will be working with our elephants and rhinos for the next year.
Obviously, I do not have any type of special gear for this other than my uniform and I need advice for what I should buy to prepare myself for 9 hour days working in such a physical area. As recommended by a fellow teen who has worked in that area for the past year, I have ordered some working gloves so I don’t cut my hands while handling hay.
Do any of you have some suggestions for gear I should purchase that could help me out in this new animal area? Thank you so much!
TLDR: I will be working with elephants and rhinos at my local zoo soon and I have absolutely no gear (other than my uniform) to help. Any gear suggestions?
