Someone asked me why I use lots of spices whenever I cook
So I said thyme is of the essence
We were racing against the clock, trying to figure out which spice was the one they wanted.
They screamed stuff like "we want more time" and "time is of the essence", but apparently they don't have any clue what it's called.
I recommend that you all use herb concentrates from now on.
Thyme is of the essence after all.

My coworker got back from the Essence Festival in New Orleans today and was sharing about it in a group of 4 black people and myself (pretty white). Her: Bourbon st. is so overrated, we just went back to the apartment at 1:30 when some fools started shooting. Me: What? Why'd you leave just when the party started poppin'!?
Groans and laughs were had by all...
