A list of puns related to "Puppet state"
Hawaii as we all know is the 50th State of the United States, however did you know they were ruled by a monarchy, apparently I did know that and I also know they were overthrown by Hawaiians of European descent and caused a scenario that resulted in America annexing Hawaii. However there was one event that could create an alternate history timeline in which Hawaii never got it's monarchy overthrown and never got annexed by the USA. What is this scenario I am talking about? Well then I will tell you what it is and how it could result in Hawaii becoming a Puppet State of Japan.
This scenario I am talking about happened in the year 1881, In that year 1881 during his World Tour, King KalΔkaua of the Hawaiian Kingdom held a secret meeting with Emperor Meiji and proposed to unite the two nations in an alliance with an arranged marriage between his 5-year-old niece KaΚ»iulani and the 13-year-old Prince Yamashina Sadamaro. Nothing came of the proposal, which might have made a significant impact on the eventual fate of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
However if the Marriage did happen, It could probably save the Hawaiian Monarchy from meeting it's downfall and overthrow at the hands of the Committee of Safety. But the Queen of Hawaii LiliΚ»uokalani would still be deposed, but it would be the Japanese who depose of her as they will replace her with KaΚ»iulani as Queen with Prince Yamashina Sadamaro as Prince Consort. This move will most likely be a scenario in which the Kingdom of Hawaii becomes a Japanese Puppet State which alter many events in our timeline such as.
What do you think will be the outcome of the Kingdom of Hawaii becoming a Japanese Puppet State?
It is confirmed that Parpadian Empire has become puppet state of Japan based on HME comments that Parpadian is a dependent state of Japan.
Do Louria, Topa, Espenranto and Fenn, Qua Toya and Quila are considered as puppet states of Japan?
Hiiii everyone!!!! First of all I am writing from my phone so I apologize for any lack of space between sentences
Letβs put an example, Germany puppets the United Baltic Duchy after a war.
Within the UBD, Interest groups will be split, a part of them will support the current state of the country as a vassal state while the other one will do the opposite.
You, as the player, would have to develop your puppet(to keep the money flowing and your puppet stable) and try to balance your interest groups with their interest groups.
If you donβt do that, they could demand concessions along with more autonomy or even worse, declare independence and switch sides in the middle of a war.
Foreign powers could support rival interest groups in your puppet state to try to destabilize it. In this way you could slowly destroy your rivalβs influence without having to rely on a World war.
I think it would be an awesome idea to have missions from your puppet states in a similar way that Stellaris gives you missions, Easy to do but you can open the Pandora Box if you are not careful.
What do you think? Let me know your thoughts on the comments!
(I will start off with a simple description of the stuff that is mainly similar to otl). Similar to otl there is a German operation in Crimea in 1918 in which the Germans push out the Bolsheviks from the region. Afterwards, the Germans continued occupying the land until WW1 was finished.
After WW1 is finished a separate treaty is drawn regarding the Crimean operation in Sevastopol. This treaty, states that Crimea would be a puppet state to the German Empire as a strategic location/naval base in the Black Sea if a war affecting Germany would break out in the region. After a long negotiation, it was decided that Paul von Hindenburg, the famed field marshall in WW1 and aristocrat (and in otl president of Germany) would become president of the newly formed state. Once Von Hindenburg came to power he immediately tried giving himself more and more power in the government. Eventually, he declared himself dictator of Crimea, which was protested by Germany until Wilhelm 2 eventually recognised Von Hindenburg as dictator of Crimea. During his rule, Von Hindenburg suppressed the population of Crimea. Therefore (this is what it is leading up to) it is a surprise Von Hindenburg wasn't assassinated earlier.
Most of the text above would be included in an event that triggers for multiple nations (not sure which yet) about the assassination of Paul von Hindenburg. He was killed by a Crimean nationalist who was part of a nationalistic organization consisting of anti-German Crimean, Ukrainian and Russian nationalists (not sure about the name of the organization yet).
The German event gives you the option to put a king in power (Eitel Friedrich, who was put in power to clear his name but eventually becomes an absolute monarch instead of a constitutional one) or a democratically elected president.
There is also a news event, which has specific details around the assasination.
I hate the fact that I have to liberate the puppet then what the truce and then finally anex it.
Whenever I hear about someone control a nation as a puppet state they never explain how a puppet state works and how another leader takes control of land that isnβt technically theirs
So I puppeted germany in the modern scenario and I wanted to change there government and I couldnβt any suggestions?
There is no serious policy moves against challenging China's encroachment in the Philippines. On the contrary, the government is at best apologetic to the former's egregious actions. It's clear as day as China doesn't respect the Philippines' sovereignty and people so the end goal is to become a vassal state to the CCP.
Iβm trying to move forward in Germanyβs R56 tree and the Case Anton focus requires Vichy France to be a puppet, however no focuses allow me to puppet them, and the option (from what I saw) was never there in the first place. Any R56 players have an answer?
I donβt know how Savinkov wants to rebuild the Russian borders.
