A list of puns related to "Mangy"
So playing as John, I was on my way to drop food off for Evelyn Miller at Tanners reach, I went the way as the crow flies, and came across a murder site. The only thing alive was a Mangy Bluetick Coonhound. After I got off my horse it walked up to me, turned around, growled at something ran to a dead body, sniffed it, howled and then ran off towards the East. Thinking it was leading me to the possible killers, I enabled tracking and gave chase on foot.
After a while I had fallen behind, but I still managed to keep it locked on tracking, and oh boy it lead me on a merry chase, through my homestead Beecher's Hope, across the plain, through Blackwater, along the Beech, but I ended up following the wrong trail, as it crossed paths with a group of Deer, halfway between Blackwater and Thieves landing, I noticed the blue tracking line was missing, and so I gave up.
So has anyone else come across this, and did you follow the MBC dog until it lead you to something?
So I am watching the CinemaSins video on the entire Harry Potter movie franchise, what I want to know is, I get Lupin can be sick from whatever given that lycanthropy was an allegory for AIDS, but then explain why Fenrir was so much more hairy and everything. My question is why did they go for such a mangy as in the disease canines can get form for Lupin? I never understood this.
Hey guys! I have a question. Some context/ backstory might be helpful:
So, a couple days ago, I picked a cat up off the side of the road. She was quite mangy, had tons of hard, sticky mats tangled up in her hair, bald on some spots on her sides (I'm guessing she might've pulled mats out that formed there somehow), swollen ticks around her eyes and neck, dried fecal matter (or mud? not sure) stuck to her behind & hind legs, and what looked to be a pretty bad ear infection.
She did have a newish looking flea collar on (it was one of those cheap ones though, which definitely didn't seem to be helping out with all the ticks...aren't those things toxic too??) but that was it.
I debated on what to do. Since she had the flea collar on, my immediate thought was that she could belong to someone. And honestly, if she looked fine, I would've just left her alone. Indoor/outdoor cats are pretty common in the neighborhood I was in, most don't even have collars, but they're all pretty much well taken care of (glossy coats, perky, well-fed, etc).
But something just wasn't right with this cat. She looked so bad...I didn't want to leave her in the state she was in, so I ended up taking her with me. She didn't even protest, either. She walked right up to me and meowed, almost as if she was asking for help :'(
As soon as I got home, I quarantined her in my bedroom, away from my two other cats. Gave her food, water, and a revolution + dose. Cleaned her up as best as I could as well.
She drank water for a solid 3 minutes straight. Ate all the food I gave her. All throughout the night after I dosed her, dead ticks kept falling off of her as well...it was so gross, but she was already looking so much better.
My SO brought her to the vet the day after. Got her mats all shaved off, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FeLV and FIV- which is great! She did have a whole host of ear issues- I think it was a combination of mites, ticks, and a really bad infection. They gave us medicine and drops to put in her ears for the next few weeks until our next follow-up appointment.
The vet also checked her for a microchip- no chip. They recommended we go around and ask local shelters and rescues if anyone had lost a cat that fits her description, which I plan on doing this weekend.
In the meantime, I've been scouring the FB page of the town I found her in, as well as a few more local pages, for posts about missing cats, some even dating back a few years ago. None have

I live in buckman and a couple weeks back I started noticing a crow with disturbed feathers around its neck. Now I saw a couple that looked more generally mangy with feathers disturbed across their head, neck and body.
Anyone else seen this?
