A list of puns related to "London Fog (company)"
If anyone is around I'd appreciate it!
There was nothing more that I loved around mid afternoon like a nice hot chocolate or a London fog. I finally saw the nutrition and GULP! Can anyone recommend substitutes please? βΉοΈ Iβm on day 2.
I only drink tea, and I love earl grey. London Fogs are made with earl grey according to Starbucks website. But about 25% of the time mine is made with English Breakfast at Starbucks. I would suck it up but I despise English Breakfast, it tastes like old cereal milk.
I know the two teavana tea bags are the same color so initially I thought it was a mistake. But whenever I ask for it to get corrected, I am told βLondon Fogs are made with English Breakfastβ by the baristas. And then I feel like an asshole having to explain to busy baristas that they are supposed to be made with earl grey.
So then I started ordering them like this: βLondon Fog latte with earl grey.β And then of course the baristas on the intercom would say βLondon Fogs are always made with earl grey.β I cannot find a delicate way to get my order right 100% of the time instead of 75% of the time without being annoying or seemingly an asshole to the baristas!
Curse teavanaβs color choices! And curse Starbucks for naming a drink βLondon Fogβ when you donβt put βEnglish breakfastβ in it!
Is it possible to use Timβs rewards on a London fog? My mom gets one daily, collects tons of points, but I donβt see it as an option on the Timβs Rewards app. Iβve asked at various drive through where Iβm met with shrugged shoulders, βIβm sure itβs there somewhereβ, βtry espresso drinksβ, βtry teaβ. Doesnβt seem possible? Anyone have any luck with using points for a London fog?
Okay yes It taste pretty good but for the love of god donβt be the person that orders one at the drive thru PLEASEπππ
I'm only buzzed right now but I had some decarbed weed and was trying to figure out what to put it in and I had the idea put it in earl grey tea! (wish me luck that I'm in the 7-8 range when it kicks in lol) I'm too lazy to make a proper London Hot Box right now because I don't wanna steam the milk and I'm 99% sure that'd be involved but I jist thought the name was clever enough that I didn't wanna forget this
The book starts with a fog. The fog arguably outlasts most of the characters in the book as the reader goes through, either actual or metaphorical, fog in an attempt to follow the story threads that Dickens weaves in βBleak Houseβ. Dickens spends almost half of the book adding characters to the story. By following Dickensβ character introductions, the reader populates the fog with inhabitants and, as the story progresses, the threads between those characters start to clear out the fog. As the result, the reader is able to clearly see both more of the story itself and more of the backdrop in front of which the story unravels. In a sense, the readerβs experience of reading Bleak House is similar to that of a cartographer trying to map out trails of a forest by walking through it at night. However, unlike the cartographer, the readerβs journey is enriched by Dickensβ eloquent prose in which any mundane occurring is described in an extremely bizarre way. Additionally, Dickensβ portrayal of struggles of poverty, illness and sense of self-worth makes for an unforgettable reading experience. In conclusion, as much as I did not like the bookβs constant narrative switches (from 1st person to 3rd person), I am glad I had this Dickensian experience.
of course with VSCCF lmao. but the past two days i've worked we've had at least 5 people order this!
and we used to get maybe once a month.
i get it, it's a delicious drink, but pleaseeeee dont order it when you're in drive during peak. ugh
I love these drinks but they're like $6 at the coffee shop. My wife bought a $1 store milk frother thing and I tried making them myself. So easy!
Earl gray tea bag in the cup, fill up halfway with water, like normal tea. Heat milk in small pot on stove, froth, pour other half of cup full of frothy milk. Sugar or honey for sweetness, little bit of vanilla extract. Tastes exactly the same.
Anyone know any other easy recipes for popular store stuff?
