They were plumpkin
The dad says, βI bet if you pop one of those balloons sheβll let out a little wine.β
His wife just rolled her eyes and went back to watching her daughter, while the dad laughed to himself.

After many years of wandering, he finally arrived in a small village in the middle of nowhere. The people there believed in the same religion as he did, but they had no church; they had to go to the nearest one which was in a small town 25 km's from there. The priest took the initiative, asked the Church for support, and with the help of the local men they built their own temple. From there on, he was celebrating the Sunday masses, joining together men and women in Holy Matrimony, and saying prayers at the funerals.
Many years passed by like that.
At the end of an ordinary mass, in early spring, on a chilly Sunday morning he was just guiding the people out of the church, was about to close the gates when an unknown man stepped into the churchyard.
With his dirty and torn clothes, he stood before the priest and said:
Priest, please be good and give me half a lemon! - the priest was a good man, and even though he thought the request was a bit strange, he went back to the rectory, took out a lemon, cut it in half, took it back to the man and gave it to him, who looked back to the priest with gratitude. However, the priest was curious. He asked:
Son, why do you need this half of a lemon? - with a fright on his face, and before the priest could have said a thing, he rushed out of the churchyard gate and took off.
A week later, around the same time, when the priest was leaving the church, he found himself in front of the same man in the churchyard. The man said:
Priest, please be good and give me half a lemon! - the priest was surprised by the appearance of the man and his strange request. Of course he was good, went back to the rectory, and brought the half lemon. Placed it in the strangerβs hand and immediately he asked:
Here it is, my dear son, but please tell me why do you need this half a lemon? - the man was obviously frightened and immediately ran away but the priest was not sluggish either and ran after him. He wasnβt in a very good condition, he has never run so much and so fast before so he was out of breath by the end of the village, almost fainted. He thought the strange man might appear again next week, and it would be nice if he could keep up with him, so he spent his week working on his cardio. It turned out to be a good idea, because as he thought, the stranger entered the churchyard on Sunday. The priest didnβt even wait for the request, he was good, and brought the half lemon. He received these words from the man:
Thank you

There was a turtle & a hare. The hare went up to the turtle & said "Wanna race home?" Thinking he would easily win. The turtle Agreed and the hare said "ready, set, go" and then the turtle went into it's shell and the hare said "SHIT!"
P.s. Here is my dad delivering the punchline https://vine.co/v/he7l7xUQia6
My girlfriend and I are in bed watching the Late Show with Stephen Colbert eating red liquorice. I asked for one and she tosses one to me. I bite into it and with a grin on my face I raise the liquorice to my ear.
"Hey! Hey! Hey!" I grin excitedly.
She turns and glares at me.
"I heard it through the Red Vine!"
She starts to reluctantly chuckle which turns to her laughing and then her beating me with a pillow. While she is doing this, Amy Schumer made a funny joke that made Colbert laugh. "You made me miss a funny joke!"
"What do you mean? You just heard one!"
So, I asked my dad (who swears social media is evil) if he knew what Vine was.
pointing to the wine on the table, in a German accent, he says "Yes, do you vant some?"
While we were across the road cleaning up the fence line to get better access to the blackberries growing there was this one oak tree being strangled by vines and whatnot. Once we got it cleared up my mom said something to the effect of, "This poor tree was dying but I think we just saved it." I responded with, "Yeah, I think it was on it's last limb." The look on my mom's face was priceless.
So as a young child, i had heard through the grape vine that a boy in my class liked me.
Me to my dad: "I like him but he's too short."
My Dad: "Well, better short than not a tall. (Read to sound like "At all") oh dad, you and your puns.
At the Angels game with my dad and step mom when dad brings out a bag full of grape flavored red vine licorice.
Step mom asks why he bought that flavor.
Dad: "I heard it through the grape vine that they're great!"
No one but him was happy with that joke.
