If indeed he is doing poorly, please let me know what needs to be done to achieve this grade before the semester ends. Thank you, (Parent)"
Why in the hell is it my responsibility to chase down the parents of my 170+ students to tell them their kids are failing when they have 24/7 ACCESS TO THEIR GRADES. This is a lovely parent, truly. But this pushed me over the edge this morning. How about... You take the five minutes to check the grade online? Parent your kid?? We need a culture-wide shift in how parents expect to receive grade updates. And please for the love of god can we get rid of interim reports. What a waste of energy.

What HOTAS and thrust would you suggest for a VR player and why? Can't seem to find one that's not covered in buttons in all the wrong areas and tactile feel is king imo.
I’ve yet to hear her , and MULTIPLE times today, say with not hesitation, that a variety of people should be killed, because they are either inconveniencing her, but more harassing her, whatever same shit… but escalated to wishing death.

Please try it and see for yourself. Sit comfortably with spine comfortably erect and have the head straight up and down. Have the hands each in the mudra position where the index and thumb tips are touching and the three other fingers are open and together and the index and middle finger are touching(👌) and rest each and in that position with palms facing up on each respective leg. Keep the arms relaxed. If the arms are not relaxed, it wont work. Close the eyes and look up with the eyes very slightly from the median line between the upper and lower halves of the vision of the eyes. Next look at a single point with the eyes and keep the eyes as still as possible on that one point. This meditation works after you do it and serve others in whatever way you decide to actually serve others, whether it be doing the dishes or volunteering somewhere.

One of the dumbest things in the show(of many, of course), I feel, was the whole "lock away the dragons plot", basically because it amounts to nothing. Books had Quentyn Martell's attempt to steal them and so forth, Dany being left without her biggest nuclear deterrent, etc;
However, the whole Fighting Pit sequence comes off as dumb because Dany is able to completely control Drogon, with little to no issue. Book Dany is NOT immune to fire anymore and gets her clothes and her hair burned off when Drogon lets loose his fire at her and she ends up having to whip him into submission. Dany of the show just looks into Drogon's eyes and magically summons him, I guess.
Later, Tyrion frees the remaining two dragons from their chains and they just break loose from under the pyramid and the viewers ooo and aaa, but again, was there a reason for locking them away only for them to be completely controllable without any kind of training or anything, other than for D&D to save some of the CG budget?
So if you watch Jesse enkamp’s series where he travels to China to find the roots of karate’s kata, you’ll notice most of the Kung fu forms that are supposed to be some of our kata barely resemble their offspring at all. That combined with the fact that just about every lineage of the same style will do different variations of a kata, with some of the differences being pretty small, and some of the differences being very large.
This tells me that there is literally no way to find a ‘right answer’ to what various moves in kata should be, and any attempt to do so is pointless. The katas have changed so much over the years any original intent is likely lost or greatly diluted.
Analyze your kata if your answer feels right, then it’s right for you, but don’t worry about looking for some mythical ‘one true’ interpretation of kata.
