Strix Aluco Puns

Hey all, hoping to start a campaign with this character in a few weeks time and I would love to have a picture of the character to share with the rest of the group! If anything is unclear then I'd be happy to clarify!

Introduction:

Strix (Tawny) Aluco, Seeker warlock and archivist of the Akashic Archive (D&D 5e)

Tawny is a young (~25yr) Aasimar, a born scholar and a natural researcher. He is one of the Seekers, dedicated investigators and archivists under the tutelage of the deity Celestian, and spends his life scouring the Material Plane for scraps of hidden arcana and forgotten lore to add to his teacher’s collection. Like all the Seekers he was granted the name of an owl, Celestian’s favoured animal, when he joined the order, and typically wears a stylized owl mask when outside the Archive.

I don’t have much info on the wider setting, since the DM hasn’t finished writing it yet, but Tawny lives and works within Celestian’s Archive, located within a demiplane in the Astral Sea; although he often finds himself roving the other planes in search of some lost manuscript or forgotten relic

Physical appearance / Gear:

Tawny is a small, almost scrawny man, though he is often bundled in enough layers of thick clothing that his build is almost impossible to tell. He has sharp features and a very pale complexion, with a pair of bright ice-blue eyes behind a set of thick round glasses. His hair is brown, shot through with streaks of white and grey courtesy of his Aasimar heritage and normally quite unkempt.

Spending much of his time in the Astral Sea, Tawny normally dresses for bitter cold; thick overcoats with fur trim and heavy boots and gloves. He also wears a stylised owl mask modelled after his namesake, the tawny owl. He carries a heavy scroll case over his back, with a number of smaller cases and pouches around his body. The Seekers rarely carry weapons, preferring to avoid fights if possible, or rely on their magic, but Tawny carries a small single edged short sword designed to look like a spread wing and a small set of throwing knives shaped like feathers, more for show than anything else. He’s often coated in a thin coat of magical frost, courtesy of the Armor of Agathys spell.

Tawny wears a delicate silver chain wrapped around his left hand and forearm; a talisman granted to him by Celestian when the Seeker pact was sealed. The chain grants its wearer a small measure of Celestians knowledge, allowing them to show at least some skill i

I guess the concept didn't work

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
