A list of puns related to "Retirement Program"

I've been wanting to be a pen pal for someone in a retirement home (preferably in Ontario, but anywhere in Canada is okay too) but I missed the boat when all those programs were in full swing at the start of COVID. I've been trying to find pen pal programs that aren't just for kids and are still currently running, but most of them have information that is over a year old. Does anyone know if there are retirement homes that are still doing this kind of thing?
Any suggestions would be appreciated :)
I'm from Texas, and over here as a (now-former) state employee, I had to put in 8% of my paychecks into the Teachers Retirement System (TRS), as I was a UT System employee. But I also got the options of putting in monies into a 457 as well as a 403(b) account (the latter of which had a Roth option).
What do California state workers get? Just CalPERS?
3 years in my 30s with no match, if I wanted to stay for fellowship that would be 6 years. Itβs pretty upsetting and IMO a massive gap in wellness. I looked at a few other programs, seems like most do. Anything put in now has 30 years of growth. To clarify they do offer a match for other employees of the health system. Itβs real animal farm stuff.
Hi friends, I currently work in higher education where I contribute to a 403B. I am considering taking a job with the federal government that offers FERS. Is there a website or other resource I can use to βplug inβ my current retirement program and compare it to the plan at the job Iβm interviewing with? I listed βnon traditionalβ in the title as everything else Iβm finding online is using 401kβs, Roth IRAβs etc and none of those apply to me at this point. I know I could do this with some manual math, but Iβm hoping for a plug-and-chug program for some rough numbers. Thanks
My grandma was in charge of the braves 400 club a very long time ago for several years. When the home run king Hank Aaron retired there was a retirement ceremony in which they gave out programs and some people got hand signed letters from the king himself. Hank Aaron held the record for most major league baseball home runs. Hank Aaron also died about a month ago. Both the program and signed letter are in prestige condition.

Anybody that did not receive the ARP payout selection kit or letter to transfer credits to CALPERS that can share their experience. Thanks!
My Korean isn't great, so I'm having a hard time finding any programs like this. The only program I can find is for sending letters to guys in the army.
I don't suppose there are any programs like this that exist? Or perhaps there is someone or some place I can contact to try and set something up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tons of cards and letters sets I'm dying to use.
I have a 98 civic that is on its way out and I wanted to see if applying for the program could be of any help? Does anyone know if your car can still be retired even if it passes smog?
Also if anyone knows how long it takes for them to reply back to your application, if its faster than the 4 weeks they say.
Hello everyone!
I recently accepted a position working for the state of South Carolina and was given options for mandatory retirement programs. I am most certainly wanting to go with State ORP, but I am not exactly sure which vendor to choose. I am given the options of MassMutual, MetLife, TIAA-CREF, and VALIC. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. I am fairly young (Mid 20's) and am just now learning about retirement programs.
The biggest news of the year just broke. One of the most iconic and legendary teams of the sport, Petty Enterprises, will be no more at the end of the 2007 season. NASCAR's most storied franchise on Thursday announced it has agreed in principle to merge with Chip Ganassi Racing, ending the 59-year existence of the organization that won 10 Nextel Cup titles between Richard Petty (7) and his father, Lee (3). The new organization will be known as Richard Petty Motorsports, and while Petty keeps the name and will be the face of the organization, Chip Ganassi and Felix Sabates will become majority owners of the organization. PE's iconic #43 car will be fielded in 2008, with no word on the PE #45. The plan is to reportedly field a four car operation, likely the #40, #41, #42, and #43, all Dodges. With the new car of tomorrow coming in 2008, this cost cutting measure would help the iconic 43 return to victory lane, albeit under new ownership. Petty Enterprises plans to finish out the season with current drivers Casey Mears and Kyle Petty, and in the meanwhile will form a technical alliance with Chip Ganassi Racing. CGR won the 2007 Daytona 500 with David Stremme, and scored 2 wins in 2006. As for Kyle Petty, he will be retiring at the end of the 2007 season - ending a 2 decade career with 8 wins, along with the 2005 Gatorade Duel. 2008 will be a vastly different season - the end of the Gen 4 as well as having a Petty on the track.
The Busch series will have a new "Dash 4 Cash" program in 2008. Four races - Gateway, Pikes Peak, Nashville, and a new race at Iowa Speedway, will have a no bushwhacker rule. The winner of each of these races will receive a bonus $50k in addition to their winnings. If a previous Dash 4 Cash winner wins a second Dash 4 Cash race, the money is awarded to the next highest team that hasn't won. Finally, the dash 4 cash finale will take place at Homestead. The four drivers that have won the prize money in each of the four races will battle it out during the race, and the highest finishing driver will take home the grand prize of $200k, which is increased to $500k if that driver finishes 1st in the race. This concept should help drum up interest in a division that has been plagued by buschwhackers. Due to this rule, the amount of races that buschwhackers are banned in have increased from 5 to 9 for 2008.
Mike Bliss is likely out at Joe Gibbs Racing. He'll finish out his contract for the year, but those within JGR are indicating that a dea
