**Short-Sleev

Does anyone know if there's a name brand version of this kind of jacket? I actually bought one exactly styled like this for a low price off of ebay, but turns out it was a cheaper quality that was very thin, flimsy, with loose threads and little to no use in terms of keeping you warm.

The main things I was looking for was a jacket that had a buttoned up neck, and made of wool. Here's an image of the jacket:

If anyone can find a coat that is name branded (CK,etc) like this, I'd be very much grateful for the help :)

What are some places/websites where I can find myself a peacoat/winter jacket and which would you suggest for someone?

If it matters, I'm 5'6, thin, awful with fashion, and living in Boston.

I've been looking for something to wear during the winter and I've stumbled upon these two jackets/coats. One is a Brandit Peacoat from a military surplus near me and the other one is a Jack and Jones jacket. The peacoat is a 70/30 blend of wool and viscose whilst the jacket is a 60/40 blend of wool and polyester. Right now I'm thinking about buying the Jack and Jones jacket because I like it's style. Can anyone vouch for Jack and Jones quality?

Ok, so i know this is probably getting asked here a lot, but I NEED TO KNOW.

What the fuck is he wearing ? I guess It's some sort of Pea coat, or a jacket.

On my journey through the interwebs, I've found many jackets (or pea coats) that looked somewhat similar to this one, but i never found the original JonTron jacket.

If someone can answer this question (I might even ask the allmighty Jon himself (I could on twitter, but i doubt he's gonna answer me)) I NEED TO KNOW THIS.

I'm putting up four coats/jackets that I just don't wear anymore.

First is a North Face TKA Stretch Full Zip jacket in black, size XL. Overall decent condition. Zippers are all working smoothly. Two front zipper pockets, one upper arm zip pocket on left sleeve, and two inner drop pockets. Wait elastic works fine. I found one small tear in the fabric near the seam next to the size tag on the inside, and I've included a picture of it. Album Here Asking $45, plus shipping depending on where it's going.

Next up is a North Face Windstopper Full Zip in Brown/Brown size XL. Zippers are all smooth on this one as well. Noticed some kind of stain on the outside of the front right zipper pocket, as well as two small dots on the back of the right elbow area. Two front zipper pockets, one zip pocket on left chest. No tears in this one but there is some wear on the velcro straps used to seal the wrists, does not effect the velcro though. Album Here Asking $45, plus shipping depending on where it's going.

Also have my US Navy Surplus Pea Coat in black wool size L. No damage to the wool on the outside, appears to be a small blemish on the back of the right sleeve that will come out with a dry cleaning. Buttons are all original. Quilted lining is very warm and the coat has served me well when I used to work nights. There are two tears along the seam inside each armpit of the lining, can be easily mended and not too bad for over ten years of ownership. Album Here. Asking $50, plus shipping.

Lastly is a Speed and Strength brand Band of Brothers Motorcycle Jacket. This is 100% BNWT and still has original hang tags and stock plastic coat covering. Bought it and ended up not needing it. This is the black on black color way. Product Page Here.

I live in New England and the cold morning/nights have already started. I am in desperate need of some fashionable coats/jackets for this fall. I have always wanted a Pea Coat but have no idea where to start. I would also like to diversify my closet with a few other light jackets or coats. I appreciate the help.

Where could I possibly find a bunch of brown or black jacket buttons to buy in Ottawa? I need to replace those on my winter jacket. The buttons I need are basically the type you would find on pea coats and the average jackets. I have visited the dollar stores, walmart, fabricland and Canadian Tire without much success.
