A list of puns related to "Libra The Balance"
Interested to everyone's opinions. A lot of things have happened since the introduction, as multiple founding members dropped out (most noticeable all of the payment providers) and the US and EU are trying to stop it from launching soon.
I know that Facebook's Libra is not a coin in it's basic meaning, but all in all - it's crypto-related, blockchain-based etc.
LAW - I mean a coin from that project https://ubikiri.com/
Gram is a coin from Telegram app (200-300 mln users).
Has Bitcoinโs recent rise in the markets been triggered by anything other than pure speculation? Are there more real-world use-cases of Bitcoin being a better alternative than traditional money?
Is Facebookโs โcryptocurrencyโ project Libra is expected to be released this year. Is this an actual crypto that has use or just a way for FB to get on the โcryptoโ bandwagon?
How does all this impact the much wider topic of the implementation of blockchain currencies?
Lastly we talk about the roll-out of 5G networks.
Will 5G be what truly ushers in AR & VR? Does its model of low latency/high bandwidth overcome the problems existing VR solutions have had with the high cost of VRโs local computing needs?
When/If VR/AR the new predominant computing paradigm โ will we have new tech giants? Can existing ones adapt?
Is this tech something else accelerating the trend for economic dislocation via globalization/automation.
edit:
nevermind its down again go back to asking when its up again
From TD Ameritrade Live News:
" Lawmakers were up in arms this month about whether Libra, Facebook Inc.'s proposed new cryptocurrency, would be a haven for money launderers and other criminal activities.
Facebook, though, says Libra could be a valuable tool for law enforcement, partly because of the vast amounts of information that will be generated about its users. That was the message Facebook executive David Marcus took to Congress during hearings this month.
The conversation represents how some portions of the crypto world are trying to move beyond the industry's Wild West heyday and become a viable payments option.
The ability to use crypto to help catch criminals is ingrained in its structure. Cash is valuable to criminals because there is no transaction or ownership record. Bitcoins carry an unalterable transaction record with them, but not always an ownership record. With Libra, both the transactions made and who made them will be recorded.
"You're going to see an expansion of exchanges and wallet services that have stronger (anti-money-laundering) protocols and restrictions," said Yaya Fanusie, a former CIA analyst and security consultant. "That would be good for law enforcement." "
This literally is the exact opposite of what crypto was made for, this is going to be centralized, it will track all payments and then using that tracked information, Facebook will create advertising composite's for people, so that they can better target consumers with advertising. The only people that Libra benefits, is Facebook, and the corporatocracy that will be a part of it. They're mad that they missed out on the initial crypto train and now they want to ride the coat tails of the success of crypto, while adding absolutely nothing of benefit to the infrastructure of the original system.
Big data is more valuable than oil. (1) Using just a personality test that was "free", our democracy was thwarted, by a company that received access to this data from FACEBOOK. If you think that a company that literally stole it's idea to start with, is run by someone who is interested in anything other than himself, you have another thing coming.

They will be able to track our transaction and wealth, but why would PayPal and Visa join an association that works directly against their own companies business?
EDIT: the Libra Association is said to be non-profit What could Paypal and Visa do with the data?

(I do not have a specific gamemode in mind yet.) It's a pretty simple dual-phase build that takes advantage of Libra's balanced stat total. Beach banner + swift sparrow for strong player phase; Atk smoke to aid his enemy phase; def/res solo + aether for extra bulk / survivability.
I just want to know: (For any Gamemode) Would this type of build even work? Are there better skills for this? and at this point in the game, is libra even viable or worth the feathers?
thanks in advance.
