I already got the answer out of the textbook: "Dalton postulated that atoms combine in simple whole-number ratios. If the ratio of atoms of each element in a compound is fixed, then it follows that the ratio of their masses is also fixed"
What I don't understand is what that answer really means. If someone could explain it to me like I'm five that would be great.

Genuine question. I think it's still a gray area to say until which weeks abortion is considered 'humane'. From news, Texas passes the bill to ban abortion after 6 week. Isn't 6 weeks length kind of enough to know if you want the baby or not? Genuinely curious to know the other viewpoint. Why would you need more time than 6 weeks? The comments section I see mostly talk about the case where the girl is helpless and I understand it. But the choice can be made before the 6 weeks length. Anyone want to elaborate on this?

I wish I could start by saying "there are very few things that annoy me, except...", but I can't. Still, one of the things that annoys me most, to a visceral and irrational degree, is when I hear someone smugly asserting that "there are no atheists in foxholes", against all evidence to the contrary. Indeed, when it comes to Christianity, my home country of Norway is mostly known for burning churches on and off for the last 1100 years or so, and today being on average one of the least religious countries on God's green earth.
On average.
My parents were just a little more religious than the average Norwegian, and of the chill, tolerant kind that we tend to prefer up here. Teenage me, however, somehow decided to be more serious about is. I fell in with a crowd doing some hardcore evangelical stuff, even doing the occasional group tour of Russia to "evangelize". (Because a state that had been Christian while our ancestors were still burning monasteries for their shiny stuff on an industrial scale clearly needed us to bring them the Gospel. Oh well...)

Proportional representation (abbreviated PR): The seats of a congress, parliament, etc. are determined by a national vote. The seats are distributed to parties proportionally to the number of votes they received. The parties select the representatives that they seat in congress.
Single member districts (abbreviated SMD)(status quo): The seats of a congress, parliament, etc. are determined using districts. There is one seat per district. The winner of the district gets to represent that district in the national parliament, congress, etc.
I don't know what flair is correct for this, so analysis it is.
Can anyone point me towards a book or website that lists all or lots of the facial proportion 'rules'? (E.g there is an eye's width between the yes)
I've picked up most of the basic ones along my travels but was thinking it would be nice to have a list of all of them. I find them really useful as confirmation exercises after I've drawn a face.
