Stage 1: People refer to a large, sudden, and unexplainable drop in price as a 'correction', anyone referring to it as a crash gets shunned.
Stage 2: People start responding to any question with 'just don't look at the charts all the time' and get offended when people want to talk about crypto on a crypto subreddit.
Stage 3: Some people start using the word crash without being downvoted while others are confident that it will be going back up soon.
Stage 4: People are now confident that it will definitely be going lower and will always go lower, the crypto dream is dead and so is the stock market. Everything is ruined. Other times the market has gone down get referenced constantly. The phrase 'crypto winter' starts being repeated frequently.
Stage 5: EVERY question gets answered with 'we don't know shit about fuck'. Some people start commenting 'go outside and touch grass' to every post no matter the context.
Final Boss Stage: The suicide hotline number gets posted.

Aespa has always been a subject of controversy regarding their pre-recorded vocals. I stanned them since pre-debut but I've never heard them sing live in any of their stages. It's all the same LAR vocals. People wondered if they could actually sing. They even pulled up their radio show snippets to look into it more.
Fast forward to Savage, they proved well enough that they CAN SING and HIT THEIR NOTES without dodging during their encores. People who doubted their vocal ability were silenced. Everyone else praised them for singing really great and sounding like the studio recording.
This is my take on the matter. To me, it doesn't matter if idols CAN SING WELL during encores because it isn't a measure of their stability or ability to hold a note while dancing. They're literally standing. Sounding decent during encores is the bare minimum... if you're not moving around to compromise your singing. What really matters is singing WHILE dancing. Isn't that what k-pop idols are marketed as? Performers who can sing/rap and dance at the same time.
Idk about you but I'm tired of SM artists lip syncing ever since the pandemic started. We all know they've got the pipes to belt all the lines they can. They even have videos on youtube featuring the recording process of their songs (NCT, RV) but they will never impress people if they can't sing live during their stages. I can't count how many times I cringe when Chenle or Haechan pretend to belt their parts in bridges with literally NO VEINS popping in sight.
So can people quit it with the "I don't care if they can't sing live because we all know they can sing well" argument because how the hell are we supposed to know if they can keep that level of stability while dancing. I'd rather have idols being pitchy at times while dancing than idols who use the same LAR so much that I can already predict which lines they will sound out of breathy in.
Edit: before you come at me saying that I’m questioning if they can sing or not. No. Read my last paragraph. I am questioning their singing stability while dancing, not singing in general. Please read before you spew anger.
Sometimes I like to pretend I am musician jamming in front of thousands of people. I also like to pretend I am a baseball pitcher in a big game. I'll pretend and walk up to the mound and throw a fake pitch. I cringe thinking about it sometimes. But it's fun for me.
Stage IV cancer, treatments are working, but I'm feeling the desire to maximize memories with my wife and teenage sons while I'm still (mostly) healthy. Looking at someplace tropical near the US (we're in Washington state). Some of our favorite memories from when the boys were younger were at the beach in Okinawa (stationed there as a Marine).
I'm looking at Costco's travel packages and wondering which locations (Bahamas, Cancun, Aruba, etc) are best for families. No interested in night life, drinking, etc. Looking to hang out with the kids and make some memories.

I personally know of 15 breakthrough fully vaccinated infections in the last 48hrs the majority coming from holiday get togethers most likely. I personally tested positive today after starting to feel shitty on Sunday. Symptoms have been mild it feels like a moderate to shitty seasonal cold worse in the morning shitty later at night. I've been fully vaxxed for months and was 7 days into my booster shot.
The infection coefficient in South Africa is r=4, that combined with other markers like spikes in covid rates in NYC wastewater as well as things like the NFL having 75 covid + cases in the last 24h. Thankfully this initially looks less lethal but locally as far as caseloads go we'll probably see the biggest spike since March 2020.
So schedule that booster shot ASAP.

When Eva meets Kevin in jail and you see how totally shellshocked he is from the realization that now he's in prison and likely getting dealing with the harsh realities of it is simply amazing. Ezra Miller goes from playing a chilling psychopath to playing a genuinely scared and shellshocked child who is finally coming to grips with his actions brilliantly. I'm not a fan of his other work but man this is spectacular and it's probably Tilda Swinton's best performance.
