A list of puns related to "Handler"
Police are chasing some leads now
Balled out and showed intangibles, clutch shots, rose to the moment, dropped 10 dimes. Many of you act like he should be a superstar when what I see is progress, that's insanely awesome for a player to rise up to the occasion when needed. Props. Hope we develop this kid and keep him around.
I work as a baggage handler at an International Airport. During the Icelandic ash cloud of 2011, most if not all flights were grounded for about a month.
This meant a lot of my company's staff had absolutely nothing to do. The company made a very generous offer of letting staff go home, unpaid.
This led to a lot of staff refusing and coming to work as usual. With no flights there is a lot of people with nothing to do.
Collecting cones, counting chocks, tidying up rolling stock, clearing FOD from vehicles. Nothing we wouldn't normally do in the winter when the schedule drops.
After all the usual ground handling jobs has been completed multiple times, the managers started to think of other ways to get the staff to work.
At first it was pretty basic, new ropes in chocks or tidying the crew room. But then a manager had a bright idea of us repainting the Electric Baggage Trucks (EBT).
A colleague who we will call Keith, took exception to this and went into the office to complain.
Keith's reasoning was that he was not a trained painter, he was a baggage handler. He had no experience of painting.
Rule number one one at my firm is you never operate or do anything you are not trained to do.
The manager told Keith it was not an unreasonable request and if he refused he would be disciplined.
Keith accepted and got to work.
He painted the EBT good.
He painted the body, the doors, the wheels, tyres.
Then the windows, the headlights, tail lights, hub light, wiper blades.
He painted the entire thing in heavy duty white paint.
The manager sacked him on the spot.
I'm not sure if he appealed or what happened to the painted vehicle.
Tl;dr Company forced baggage handler to paint vehicle. Employee painted the vehicle baggage handler style.
Title says it all. Our facility in Hodgkins, IL is hiring new package handlers at those rates because they canβt get people to come to work or compete with unemployment. We were getting $200 weekly bonuses for coming in everyday but theyβre taking those away and bumping every single employee to either $22 or $24.
Just wanted to see if this is only for our building or if any other places are also doing this.
or maybe even meet a girl?
I worked at Target last year and I did actually end up making friends, since the other people were my age

Youβve got 6 options here: theyβll be formatted as ball-handler, screener.

Each of these combos is a different dynamic, and Iβm sure any one of these would be the best P&R duo in the league. But if you need a score, which one of these duos do you then to?
I'm 5'11" 150 lbs
I can easily carry a 70 lb dumbbell but I doubt I could lift it overhead repeatedly for 4 hours
I can carry several 48 lb cases of walmart water into my house but not for hours, like I can carry 4 of them within a few minutes
I have a bunch of custom stuff and I have asked on the community site in the threads for the respective projects but no one has bothered to respond to me in months.
Are my devices going to continue to still work but I will just not be able to access the IDE to add new ones or will it all just go down?
If so what is the alternative ,I know nothing about hubitat But I heard those same handlers developed for ST will work with hubitat because it also uses groovy.
So is that right and if I do need to switch them over then will I need to buy a hubitat hub ,or can I do it without a hub, they are all esp8266 based devices.
I think you can use wifi based devices and custom DTH's on ST with no hub but what about hubitat?
I had to replace my gen 1 ST hub , I ordered the aotec before the promotion expired , but it is still NIB and I am not going to open it and bother setting it up if I need to buy a new hubitat hub too just for my custom DTH wifi devices.
I rather just sell it and buy a hubitat hub if I will not be able to use my devices with ST still or be able to use them with hubitat without their hub.
This is a guide made by a employee who has worked at UPS as a part time Package Handler for over 2 years. I hope you find this post helpful!
GET HIRED
β’ UPS will hire any human being with a pulse
β’ NO DRUG TEST FOR PART TIME PACKAGE HANDLERS
CORNERSTONE TRAINING
β’When the hiring process is over and they give you a date to be at the hub, you will come on the stated date and you will be greeted at the security booth by a manager that is usually in charge of new hires for that shift. After they give you some kind of introduction speech in the cornerstone room theyβll take you on a tour around the whole hub and explain different safety stuff and designated areas etc. Then you will start your training which lasts for a few days and will then be assigned to your PD and supervisor.
NEW HIRE ADVICE/ 1st 30 DAYS
β’W A T E R( most important advice)
ESPECIALLY during spring/summer. It gets hot in those trailers, especially when you're In a truck with 2 other guys loading over 2-3k packages, and I strongly recommend to keep it to water or Gatorade. Had a guy on my wall who would bring in sodas and iced teas and he ended up passing out from exhaustion.
CLOTHING RECOMMENDATIONS
β’Any hiking socks work good for me ( stay dry wool low cut hiking socks are my GO TO )
SHOES ARE VERY IMPORTANT
β’Sturdy boots ( lace up boots is what UPS recommends, but it isnβt the best shoe to handle in IMO ) β’I personally recommend KEEN lace up ankle boots or HOKA running shoes ( my personal favorite.. it feels like your walking on air while on hard concrete all day)
ANY CLOTHES YOU WANT
Spring - Summer
-athletic shorts
-loose athletic T-Shirts ( sweat wicking / moisture resistance ) ( I donβt like wearing cotton to sweat in )
-athletic underwear (moisture wicking IMO)
Fall - Winter ( I wear the spring/ summer outfit year round because I am hot natured )
-sweat pants maybe or any type of pants
-T-shirt or thermal long sleeve
-sweatshirt or jackets
-toboggan or ear muffs
P.S- I RECOMMEND GRIP WORK GLOVES
WHATEVER MAKES YOU COMFORTABLE... it makes a big difference trust me.
FIRST 30 DAYS
β’This is a probationary period before you become a union employee where they can fire you for pretty much anything you do wrong if they want to or the right person sees you at the wrong time. FOLLOW THE METHODS THEY TEACH YOU AND THAT YOUR SUPERVISOR WANTS( every sup. Is different). I know I know.. itβs annoying and sometimes hard to do it
... keep reading on reddit β‘Shouldβve listened to the sub; this job is modern day slavery! Not to mention it was almost an hour drive one way for me!
On that note, will they mail me my paycheck for the hours I put in or do I have to go there to get it?
Update: Called and spoke to payroll and they said the checks will get mailed to me, which is perfect since i live almost an hour away! Thanks for the support everyone; honestly if the job was closer to home I may have stuck it out a little longer.
I am interested to know what advice or tips you all would give someone who is starting to play handler. It would be great if you could expand on your tip or advice abit to explain why that piece of wisdom is valid.
