A list of puns related to "Grazer"
I’ve posted countless times about my dog’s weird appetite on this sub. We tried for so long to do set meal times like the vet recommended, but she ended up losing weight because she wouldn’t eat in the time she was given. This also led to increased snacking because we felt bad for her— extra treats and sometimes a nibble of whatever we’re having (she LOVES berries and chicken).
We’ve since switched to a modified version of free feeding— she gets her morning portion at 8 and it stays down all day. At 5, she gets her dinner portion added to whatever she hasn’t eaten yet and the bowl stays down until 9:30. She’s also a nighttime eater— she sometimes goes all day just picking at a few kibbles before she gobbles it down at 8pm.
I know it’s not the vet recommended method for feeding, but it works for her. She’s gaining weight, seems to have more energy, and is overall a happier dog. We’ve also tried to minimize her use of the bowl— she uses a snuffle mat, a puzzle toy, fillable balls, and we do training games with her kibble.
Has anyone else stopped feeding their pup on such a strict schedule? I’d love to hear how it’s working for you.
I was contemplating "Sirena but with cows" and realized I had no idea what you would expect from a cow that decided to start eating meat as its primary form of sustenance.
Anyone here growing grains or cover crops or anything of "value" by mob grazing an area (let's say an acre) down to nothing and then following that with a no-till drill to plant into the soil? Does this work?
I don't use chemicals and I am looking to move away from tillage. I know I can roll/crimp a crop and then plant into the residue but I would also like to run some sheep as part of the rotation. Thanks!
Since saiga are so hard to obtain (which is due to downright awful planning), would chamois be able to fill the role of a medium sized lowland grazing bovid, or are they not fast enough on level ground?
Am I the only one who can rarely block one hand and 2 hand rim grazers, especially when playshots drive to paint? I guess I have 70 interior defence and 70 block for nothing.
First time cat owner!! My kitten (8-9 months) has recently turned into more of a food grazer. She nibbles at her food (wet and dry), comes and goes, and ultimately ends up eating 1/2-2/3 of what I put out in a day.
Up until 6 months, she was a scarfer. Would devour everything the moment I put it out, beg for more, and eat everything
The only thing that’s materially changed recently is getting spayed + spending a month in a different environment during the holidays (which she adjusted to well)
Is this typical behavior? Not sure if I should be concerned. I know cats typically eat a little less (or should, at least) after spay/neuter, but it seems her attitude towards food has completely changed overall.

I've done some searching and this is what I understand of Epakitin. Its main function is to bind phosphorus and prevent its absorption through the GIT. Thus, it would only be effective if eaten together with the meals.
I know the recommended method is to portion the cat's diet into 2 meals and mix the power with the meals.
The problem is that my cat is a grazer. I will put out a portion and she eats it little by little over the course of many hours. It would make no sense if she were to take the whole single meal dosage of epakitin when she isn't finishing the meal on the spot.
So my question is this. Would it be effective if I spread out the powder for 1 dose evenly across the meal? That way, she could presumably get the right amount of powder for the amount of food she eats at any given time. This makes sense to me. I just wonder if the partial doses of epakitin she ingests when grazing will lose efficacy. Phrased another way, is there a particular amount of epakitin they need to ingest to make it work at all, or is the amount of epakitin needed directly correlated with the amount of food that is eaten with it?
I bought an autograph and a t shirt of him during his fanmio event. Im not his fan anymore so i wanna get rid of it. I will accept any offers tbh cause i dont want it. The autograph is official. Ill put it on ebay so you know i wont scam (ebay has money back guarantee). Im willing to sell it for really cheap. I can put the shirt with too if you want it. Idk if this is relevant here but i didnt know where else to send it.
I have knocked some of the grazer dummies but they don’t add up to statistics. Any advice?
