Can anyone tell me what type of snake this is? I found it on the surface where I dig for bottles in Oklahoma. It was very small but it did try to bite my screw driver and garden trowel when I moved it.

Is a trowel that Archeologists use similar to a garden trowel?
My best friend is an archeologist and I am very much not. I found some cute earrings on Etsy that look like little trowels, and I think they'd make for a great Christmas gift, but they're labeled as garden trowels, and I don't know how similar they are. Nor do I know any other archeologists to ask.
(If y'all know of any other gifts an archeologist would like...let me know!)

Opinion on garden trowel please
Has anyone used the type of trowels Adam Frost and Monty Don use when making holes for transplanting? They have longer T shape handles and a wider, almost spade shaped head. ( I have searched but can't find them). Are they suitable on heavy clay with lots ( and lots) of flint? If so where can they be bought?.

So I have these two elevated beds along with some buckets with stuff planted. In my garden that's planted in the ground, literally every time I dig even just with a little trowel I get anywhere from 3-10 worms. I was thinking of transplanting some into these two beds and buckets. Good idea?
