I am really impressed by Ernest's interception. He was in zone and read the play perfectly.
First, Ernest played the RB, then quickly released him as the RB left his zone. After releasing the RB, he preceded to read the QB's eyes (and maybe use some peripheral vision) to shade to the receiver who was crossing in behind him. This appeared to be a designed play by the Texans to put pressure on the rookie LB that would typically result in an easy completion. However, due to Ernest's quick ability, he was able to play both pass catchers perfectly resulting in the turnover.
Just bought one. Thought it might be of interest to somebody as I've not seen them discounted so heavily before.
FLEX spot was already used on Thursday, with the two remaining RB spots, which two should I start?
I’ve got Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams in at rb. I have Eli Mitchell in at flex and Julio Jones on the bench. Johnson is available on the waiver wire. My only issue with getting him is that my league only has a 5 player bench and no ir spot. On the bench right now, I have Lockett, James Robinson, Julio Jones, Kittle and Burrow. I have Waller in at te, Mahomes at qb, and Sutton and Marquise Brown at wr. If I pick up and stream Johnson tonight, who should I drop? Also, should I start Sutton tonight or put in Lockett and hope Geno can somehow find him?
Jones is not playing so far, and i have Browning, Rice, and Tryon on Taxi. He is the IDP rookie on my bench who should be on Taxi, but there are other players i would want to swap around on waivers, especially offensive players.
My LBs are Smith, Brooks, Okereke, Walker, Ernest Jones, and Jayon Brown and Murray on IR, Browning and Rice on Taxi
DBs are: Reid, Adderly, Byard, Chinn, Sterns
I feel like that both Chinn and Jones are easily replaceable through waivers, ofc we dont know what jones be like, but so far he doesnt seem to be that good, that he gets any snaps. Chinn is literally my worst DB (ignore Sterns, he is getting impact plays while on very limited snaps, i dont want to drop that upside)
Would it be smart to trade D’Ernest (Browns) for Marvin Jones (Jags). I need another solid receiver but not sure if Jones will be reliable.
Did he play last night for the Rams? Zero stat line. I expected him to have a prominent role in their defense this season.
