Electric Catfish Puns

Who says primitive medicine is silly?!?! That would feel sooooo good right now.

I wanted to know what the electric eel was called before the discovery of electricity; I found that the old world electric catfish was called “angry catfish” by the ancient Egyptians, but a 12th century Arab physician called it “abo el raash” which means thunder, but literally “trembler” or “shaker,” according to Wikipedia My question is this: does the thunder name relate to lightning being electricity, or is it a coincidence that comes from the trembling/shaking effect of an electric shock?

I've had my lake Malawi aquarium set up for a white, i started with a featherfin catfish, and this week added 6 adult sized electric yellow cichlids. The cichlids are not letting the featherfin going his cave, mostly they are 'head butting' him till he moves but today I saw one biting him for a good 3 or 4 seconds. I would of thought the spines on the catfish would be enough to hold off most things but apparently not! Any ideas on if this will continue? Thanks
