Does the name of the Electric Catfish in Arabic relate to lightning?
I wanted to know what the electric eel was called before the discovery of electricity; I found that the old world electric catfish was called βangry catfishβ by the ancient Egyptians, but a 12th century Arab physician called it βabo el raashβ which means thunder, but literally βtremblerβ or βshaker,β according to Wikipedia
My question is this: does the thunder name relate to lightning being electricity, or is it a coincidence that comes from the trembling/shaking effect of an electric shock?
This is like my third Reddit question post ever so apologies if I fucked it up

I am an unpopular electric eel set in a pond of catfish.
The quote in the title comes from a book by Edith Sitwell, called The English Eccentrics.
For we are here today to discuss eccentric fashion. What is eccentric fashion? Excellent question. It is hard to define specifically, but you know it when you see it. Generally, it's all about maximalism, i.e. the more the better! Colors, accessories, patterns...why have just one or two? Why not five? Why not dress like your head is enveloped in a swarm of butterflies? Why not throw on some angel wings for your next gala? Don't take things so seriously!
There are two populations who have generally mastered eccentricity. The first is older women. Older women (and some older men) seem to be much more inclined to go full eccentric. The other group is the Brits. Eccentricity almost seems to be a part of the national culture, and they have perfected the art form. Many famous eccentrics are Brits, including Isabella Blow, Zandra Rhodes, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, and pretty much every aristocrat [ever](http://img.tatler.co.uk.s3.amazonaws.com/4

With the many new creatures coming to Fallout 76 I hope we finally get some crazy new aquatic enemies. Four legged giant catfish, high voltage electric eels, giant crayfish/crawdads instead of mirelurks, there are so many great possibilities.

Electric yellow cichlid vs featherfin catfish
I've had my lake Malawi aquarium set up for a white, i started with a featherfin catfish, and this week added 6 adult sized electric yellow cichlids. The cichlids are not letting the featherfin going his cave, mostly they are 'head butting' him till he moves but today I saw one biting him for a good 3 or 4 seconds. I would of thought the spines on the catfish would be enough to hold off most things but apparently not! Any ideas on if this will continue? Thanks
