A list of puns related to "Blanton"
Majority of people who shit on Blantonβs are people who canβt get their hands on it, or donβt want to put in a little effort into getting it. Blantonβs is pretty damn good, and to say itβs not worth the ~$60 is a joke. Yeah Eagle Rare is goodβ¦ but itβs not as good as Blantonβs.
People act like itβs impossible to get. Just because you donβt find it on the shelf every time u walk into a liquor store doesnβt mean itβs impossible to find. Iv walked into a liquor store and bought it after 5:00pm 2 times in the last month.
Now Iβm not saying itβs worth paying a reseller $100+β¦ fuck those guys. All Iβm saying is, itβs def not bad, and all the people saying itβs trash are salty because they canβt get any.
Just left the store had a case of each 4:30 p.m. just getting unpacked
Blantonβs is one of the countryβs most highly allocated and sought-after whiskies. Iβd highly recommend not mixing it with something as it would have a detrimental effect on such a magnificent spirit. For something as revered as Blantonβs, Iβd recommend sipping neat, or perhaps with a drop of water from a KY spring, to open up the dram. A proper glass, such as a glencairn, stolzle, or Tuath will help with nosing this sweet elixir of the bourbon Gods. If youβre lucky, you may find a bottle that was dumped from the barrel on a date that has some sort of significance to you (labeled as the βdump dateβ and not to be confused with βtaking a dumpβ).
If youβre one of the few lucky enough to have Blantonβs, please give the bottle the proper respect that it deserves. Many a man would give one, or both, of his testicles to be so lucky.
Perhaps you are new to the world of fine bourbon. Would people line up for 3-5 hours for a chance at a bottle of Blantonβs if it were merely adequate? I think not and your post seems misguided.
Iβve also found that I can describe 3-7 more components of the flavor profile of Blantonβs if I don an ascot while tasting. YMMV, of course.
The fun doesnβt end on the tongue! Each topper has an special significance, letters to collect, throw on a barrel stave, or just get creative!
Lastly, properly expand your palate, we may have to arrange a flight with some other fantastic pours. An epic wheater like Weller Special Reserve (highly allocated), Hudson Baby Bourbon (a very nice micro-distillery) and perhaps Willett Pot Still (the bottle alone is proof of the juice inside - no distillery would be so obtuse as to place sub-par bourbon in such a magnificent vessel). I think then we can discuss how Blantonβs truly excels amongst such whiskey powerhouses.
Tammy Jo Blanton, a 46-year-old woman, was found deceased on September 11, 2014. At the time, she was living in Clark County, Indiana. After sheβd failed to show up to work that morning, her co-workers called police and asked them to do a welfare check.
Tammy was killed by her ex-boyfriend, Joseph Oberhansley. After killing Tammy, Joseph cut out her heart with a jigsaw and ate it.
In 1998, Joseph shot and killed Sabrina Elder, his girlfriend. Sabrina had just recently given birth to a baby boy, but Joseph insisted that the baby wasnβt his, he accused her of cheating on him. Sabrina said that the baby was definitely his, she hadnβt cheated. But Joseph would not listen to reason, he pulled out a gun and threatened Sabrina.
Josephβs mother (Brenda Self) happened to be there when this was happening; she tried to protect Sabrina, she actually dove in front of Sabrina to try and protect her. But Joseph was undeterred, he shot Brenda and then chased after Sabrina. After shooting Sabrina, Joseph turned the gun on himself and pulled the trigger. However, Joseph and Brenda both survived; Sabrina did not survive.
For shooting Sabrina and shooting his mother, Joseph was charged with murder and attempted murder. However, he must have had a damn good lawyer, because somehow the judge was convinced to accept a plea deal for manslaughter. His defense attorney (Ron Yengich) argued that Joseph had been high on meth at the time of the shooting. He also said that Joseph had started doing meth to cope with the pain of losing his father and brother, both of whom died the previous year.
Sabrinaβs father was unhappy about Joseph being allowed to plead guilty to manslaughter. He said that in his opinion, it had been premeditated murder, not manslaughter.
For manslaughter, Joseph received an indeterminate sentence of 1 to 15 years. He was eligible for parole after serving 1 year, although the Utah parole board forced him to serve out almost the entire 15 years b

So did something stupid. I went to an auction and bid on a bunch of mini blanton's thinking I would have better chances to win at least one.....Now I am the new father of 6. I really do not need 6 mini blanton's lol. Also, my wife wants to kill me now. Really looking to trade for these. Let me know if you are interested. (Atleast shipping will be cheap).
Hey everyone,
So first things first, I am very politely asking for all of the Blantonβs Haters out there to please keep your comments to yourself, especially if youβve never had Blantonβs Gold.
I have a buddy in Spain at the moment who can get a bottle of Gold for about $160.00- once it goes through customs and gets taxed weβre looking at 220.00-250.00.
For those that have had this before what are your thoughts? I know that for this price I can get myself into a bottle of something like Old Carter, but this may possibly be one of the, if not the only opportunity I have to get a bottle of B-Gold.
Really appreciate anyoneβs honest experiences with it.
Cheers!
