A list of puns related to "Windscreen wiper"
The noise as you realise what youβve done is enough to make your heart sink.
You know the bit, when the windscreen is not quite wet enough that the wiper doesn't get it and it's all you can see
So an update to the issue I had regarding the windscreen wipers and indicators not working. So I finally found why and it was the casing behind the steering wheel was not on properly. I've put it back on properly and low and behold everything is now fixed and working
They are barely functional in counties (UK citizen here) where you get variable weights of rain. The thing I miss most about old wipers is the intermittent setting. You know, when it's not raining very heavily but enough to require the screen clearing. This is the zone of shite for automatic wipers. They either do bugger all, which means you need to manually flick the lever, or they go fucking beserk! Give me old school wipers with intermittent, slow, fast any day of the week!!
Not sure if there is any existing tech already, but for heavy rain an alternative way to clear water from car windscreen without the wipers slashing across my view of the road constantly.
I donβt have a creative mind, so Iβm hoping some genius can help me out, could be a pretty epic invention if realised. βοΈ
I just chalked it up to a loss. Yes I'm stupid but I was just happy to have a car, at first the windscreen wipers semi worked but now not so much.
Not looking to screw the guy just don't wanna sink too much money into this car if it isn't worth it. I have been using it to drive to work so it's already paid it's self off in that sense as I'm not dead have a house and ate properly this month.
How much am I looking at? 100? 500+? Oh the back windscreen wipers don't work either and the left indicator indicates 5x too fast. I haven't taken it to a garage because I lose my sole source of income to get a new one / repair.
Edit: Before i fuck up again is there any strong reason I should avoid a low mileage Mitsubishi Colt? (60-70k) around the same age?
Also how much would I get for it in that type of condition, because it sure isn't passing an mot
I've also kind of been willfully ignorant of the scary sounds the engine makes. I don't think this car has longevity tbh. Like a loud whistling growling.
Also I like the look of the fiat Grande Punto and the Citroen xsera picasso because they seem to be tanks. Plus I like to have lots of storage in my car but it's not a deal breaker. Just can't find any comparisons of the negatives of em all
Yes I'd still like to be able to see out of my windscreen please.
My windscreen wipers suck. I'm pretty sure they actually make it harder to see because they just streak and bounce and leave big patches everywhere. I have replaced the blades before with ones I bought from Repco/SCA, but am wondering if there are good and bad blades, or if I should look at replacing the arm, or something else? 2007 Mazda 3 for reference. Thanks team!
Iβve bought a 2018 Honda Civic and itβs been about 6 weeks of owning it. I have recently noticed that my front wipers are scratching my windscreen. Can I take it back to the dealer or will this be classed as a wear and tear item?
Any help is much appreciated
I've got a Rio 2014 1:4 diesel and since I bought it the driver's wiper blade has either streaked on the up wipe or down wipe . I've tried various blades with the same problem . I clean the windscreen and blade regularly . Just wondering if anyone is having the same problem .
