A list of puns related to "USable"
The CPU support lists are mostly for OEMs to not put their Windows stickers on old systems. Regarding Windows 10, Microsoft even rolls out updates for Haswell, Ivy Bridge and other old stuff, although those CPUs are not supported officially.
Support list for the first Windows 10 release (1511): https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-10-1511-supported-intel-processors
Support list for Windows 10 21H1: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-10-21h1-supported-intel-processors
Example for Windows 10 updates that are rolled out for older CPUs: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb4589212-intel-microcode-updates-for-windows-10-version-2004-and-20h2-and-windows-server-version-2004-and-20h2-9f8641b3-bd8e-6fe7-ab4d-4603847c4030
Edit: This post is, obviously, about the Windows 11 drama.
Remove slow and freeze from PVP. Ty
I agree that other than in the ultra quality setting, FSR kinda suck at 1080p and the resolution drop is noticible on lower settings However, when using the ultra quality setting it's perfectly usable, if you zoom in in you'll notice that the game has this slight blur to it. Although not noticeable when a texture has a homogeneous pattern to it, like with sand, rocks, roads, mountains and most of the environment, you can definitely see it on smaller, more contrasty stuff like people clothes, tiny boats, some brick patterns and stuff like this. Again I only notice it if I zoom in a screenshot or come close to my screen, when I was actually playing I couldn't notice the difference, maybe people playing on bigger screen, or playing games that have more contrast and colour variation will, but personally, so far it's pretty good, I'll definitely use it!
Can't wait to see it on other games!
After the change that a SHA refunds 2 cp if the unit shares the faction keyword, which units do you think will be competitive?
Maybe an Astraeus or a Hierophant?
I Would like to see some big models except Morty from time to time.
I saw this video on my homepage and it sparked a memory from long ago of the "Unlimited Detail" video by Euclideon technology. I remember being amazed at what they were showing, and their extravagant claims definitely made big waves at the time. Now 9 years later, we've arrived at this reality. I think it's so cool that UE5 made nanite, and I really hope that we get games pretty soon that use that technology.
Edit: I want to clarify that these are not the same technology, what's really cool is the ability to design with complete detail and render with as much detail per pixel that can be displayed.
Letβs face it, Chias wallet is horrible.
Two days to βsyncβ a wallet. Unusable on a phone.
MetaMask takes seconds.
If Chia reboots, even with newest version wallet stays stuck syncing. What the heck is this unusable piece of trash?
How do you even use this currency?
Btw, Flaxβs wallet re-synced. How ironic is that. A clone works better. Lmao.
So I have been bouncing this idea off my friends for a little bit and they keep telling me to make a post so here it is.
I personally would love for thermite to be a usable item in game. The main idea of the concept is that you could use thermite as a single use or possibly multi use item to open doors you may not have the keys for.
Imagine this, you and your buddies go to labs and want to hit red room but none of you have an extra 90 mil to buy the keycard. What if you could spend 200k on thermite to burn through the locks on the door just this once? You begin the process of ignition while your squad takes positions to secure the area. The thermite heats up and sparks begin to fly causing the room to become brightly illuminated as well as fill with smoke alerting all others in the area that your trying to access the dankest of loot. Alarms could trigger and a battle ensues that results in the survivors getting to enter one of the most elusive places in the game.
While I donβt think this idea is completely bullet proof I do think it is a concept that could add an interesting element to the game. I think it could also be used for early wipe tasks to enter rooms that have hyper inflated key prices like some on shoreline for example.
The item could also be multi use with various levels of thermite needed depending on the door type. Letβs say for the sake of argument thermite is 100/100 (like an aquamari) and a marked room takes 25/100 thermite where as red room is 100/100 or possibly even requires two containers of thermite to open.
The time it takes to open the door with thermite and the resulting noise/light from it could prove to provide some very interesting combat scenarios IMO. Almost like an invitation to other players saying βhey, I am about to to get all this loot what are you going to do about it ?β.
With skills like lock picking already intended for the game we will one day be able to access rooms without the required keys anyways and I think this could be another fun option while still keeping the high risk / high reward theme of Tarkov.
Please let me know what you guys think!

Can we please get a megathread for "is the game playable" posts? Can mods please institute a rule deleting any "is the game playable" questions? Sorry if this is off topic, but here to make it on topic:
Is game playable? Yes, the game launches, there are not many crashes anymore. You can finish a campaign.
Is game buggy? Yes, there are weird bugs regarding AI releasing vassals they just conquered for going over govt cap. They will release / integrate / release over and over. Additionally, there are bugs related to provinces switching places with each other, coalitions forming against Viayanjar in India, and random locations on the map becoming visible.
Is game balanced? No. Monuments are not balanced, some are needed and some are useless. Expand the Empire causes massive game ruining AE so a HRE Emporer run is probably not possible. Concentrate development is broken, as is the natives development in the new world. If you want to play as HRE roll back to 1.30.6
Thank you friends. Enjoy EU4, enjoy the subreddit, can't stand the spam.
I feel like it's slower than Shoulder Charge now... just find a good sweetspot. As it stands right now it's too slow. It does not have to be as fast as before but definitely faster than what it is right now.

I'm trying to figure out how to bike to marine drive and the obvious answer is the 205 trail. I haven't been to the northern portion since pre covid, but I know that down by where it intersects with Springwater is a nightmare and basically not enjoyable due to tent cities and needles everywhere.
I was skeptical but gave it a shot yesterday and made it about 100 yards off sandy before the path was blocked by a passed out body across the path and just aborted mission.
Has anyone been up the northern section lately? Is it safe, or for that matter worth it?
Iβve already got a name picked out for the LO my SO and I are expecting, but I like to daydream about what we might name her future siblings one day. I watched a Marilyn Monroe documentary the other day and started to really like the sound of the name. I like Mary names in general, because they sound so sweet to my ear. But isnβt naming your kid Marilyn sort of like naming them BeyoncΓ©? LOL. Obviously Marilyn used to be a popular name (many, many years ago), while Beyonceβs parents invented her name, so itβs not quite the same, but it obviously would be automatically associated with Miss Monroe as soon as anyone heard it. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I've started to collate books from different reddit posts and put them all in a spreadsheet
I've got 160ish so far, can we get to 1,000?
Post yours and I will add it to the sheet
Five examples:
The Arcane Act of Spell Weaving and its Profane works in the History of our Great Empire. Written by Illidan Windwalker, half-elf sorceror and Professor of Magic History at the University of Vinlheim. This book was penned by Illidan during his second decade as a Professor of Magic History at the University of Vinlheim. The book has since been published in many copies and can be found in most libraries and book shops. The original still remains in the office of Professor Windwalker, who is working to update it and publish a revised second edition. In the pages of the book, readers may find the foundation of spellcraft, spells and runes lost to History that Illidan recovered, and historical information as to how specific spells have been used in the Empire.
Death Is Not The Final Stage Written by Lord Halford Fairfax, Human Necromancer, sanctioned by the priesthood of Old Stone. A lengthy book about ghosts, spirits and the afterlife. Details many rituals describing resurrection and the maintenance of soul keeping. It's a fairly populair book amongst Necromancers, although not many of the books exist.
Demons Are Your Best Friends Written by the late human Arianna Wildfoot, during her studies in the stronghold of Deema. This book contain an intricade study of demonoly, both the description of many demons along with their method of summoning. There are stories going around about one page being hidden inside the book, which contain the ritual to summon Arianna herself. Probably just rumors.
Don't Eat This Book Written by Naomi Persnipperance, to prevent further mistakes amongst her tribe. As the title would suggest, this book is all about surviving in the wild. Which herbs to eat, what mushroom to pluck, and what you can do to help people turned to stone by basilisks. Has a handy cheat sheet where you can look up if the stuff you just ate is going to kill you or not.
Will This Kill Me? Written by the rather odd goblin Iggy Stiggums, date/location of scripture unknown. A rare book about the alchemy of poisons, and a study of poison in the wild. In the back there is a short section about his personal life, and how he endured the many stings and bites he has received.
