If anyone, like me, is interested in one of Brighton’s full-backs as a replacement for James or anyone really here’s a short analysis.
Recently Brighton have played a 4ATB due to injuries to key central defenders, most notably Dunk, which makes both options slightly less appealing. However, with a 2 week PL break after their next fixture I believe they may revert to a back 5 quite soon. In general, they have been pretty solid this season only conceding more than 2 goals against Man City and 18 all season.
Cucurella has impressed me this season and is relatively cheap at £5m. His underlaying stats are not particularly thrilling with only 0.11 xGA per 90 so far. However one thing with him is that he seems a bonus point magnet already having 13 in his 11 appearances this season. He also passes the eye test and tends to find himself in good areas in the opposition half so I feel like attacking contributions will come steadily.
Lamptey is slightly cheaper at £4.5m to the point where he could replace Livramento as a 4th/5th defender and a great one at that. He boasts better xGA per 90 than Cucurella with 0.24 which admittedly is also not brilliant but when you watch him he has absolutely explosive speed and can get to the byline with ease.
Brighton’s next 7 fixtures are all pretty favourable despite their blank in GW24, and have a potential DGW although this would include a top 6 team.
it’s a bit of a toss up between the two for me. Lamptey is perhaps more exciting to watch but hasn’t played as much as Cucurella mainly due to his lengthy injury. He’s obviously cheaper as well and can be used as an enabler.
Overall I’d say Cucurella is maybe a safer option and can bag you some BP without clean sheets but Lamptey is more exciting if you watch some games solely due to FPL.

Alienware AW3420DW : Not a single thing wrong with it. No dead or stuck pixels, works wonderfully. Only selling because I got the Black Friday deal on the AW3821DW. Has been VESA mounted its whole life (which is about a year), the OEM stand has never been unpacked. Should still have two years warranty remaining or so. 120Hz, 3440x1440p, native G-Sync module (gen 1 - no fan!), FOUR x USB ports (two in the back, two on the bottom of the screen). I can also send you the ICC profile my Spyder colorimeter generated for it if you wish. Will ship in original packaging. Includes all original accessories, with the possible exception of some of the originally-supplied cables. I can't quite remember what was in the original box but if you want/need a specific cable, let me know and I'll see what I can do - either track down the original or supply one as a replacement. Maybe I'll just cannibalize the cables from the 38 incher and call it a day. Not sure what's up with the water damage on the box, but obviously the monitor wasn't in the box when that happened. =) The box has been stored under our stairs - I'll have to check that out! Kinda surprised me as I pulled the box out of storage. Either way, I'll make very sure things are super solid when I ship, don't worry. Silent office PC : Bought this case a while ago, works an absolute treat. This thing is, obviously, absolutely dead silent. Perfect for office work. Current specs are Asus Z170I with i5-7500 and a single 16G stick of RAM clocked at 3200 (not sure why I had it at 2933 in the BIOS shot...?). If you know what you're doing and can undervolt a bit, you could slap a 6700K or 7700K in there and be quite happy - assuming you're not running H265 encodes on it all day or something. 120G Kingston hard drive, freshly formatted via Diskpart; DVD writer/burner, single USB3 header at the front. HDPlex power supply. There is some scuffing on the top panel, due to my wife putting her monitor there for quite a few years before I VESA mounted her monitor too - but that picture was take

Like they're all true facts and statistics. It's just the excessive gatekeeping to send a particular message and politicize the entire fucking thing that annoys the hell outta me. Anyone else feel the same way? I think the damn thing's here to stay and we should all just stfu, take whatever vaccines we feel we may need, and move the hell on with our lives.
