Fuck knows why the YouTube algorithm recommended it but they are compiled on there in batches of ten episodes. It's genuinely really funny. Mainly because Will is excellent and despite everything I do really enjoy the antagonistic banter between Bryan and Chris.
On that latter point, it really makes you realise what a shitty 10p version of that banter Schaub and Theo have. But mainly it makes me kind of sad that TMP is no longer a thing and that TFATK has somehow survived despite seeming to be the most boring fucking thing on the internet.
Anyway, re: TMP. Chank Smith, White Person Christmas and when they sang Silent Night genuinely made me laugh. I've not watched any TFATK in years but I can't imagine anyone laughing at it ever now based on the clips on here.
I went to see P Popper Wilson last night in SLC and I got to meet him after the show. I told him I was a huge fan of TMP and he said “I was actually talking with Will and Chris the other day and we’re bringing that back”. I told him if that’s true then it’s the best news I’ve heard all year.

For me this was one of my favourite of the ST films. I liked the seriousness, the depth, the detail. Watching it on DVD now, the effects look great and crisp.
Then I watched the Director's edition, with redone sound and effects. I thought it look cheap, dated and fuzzy, and the remastered sound was awful.

I haven’t watched TMP, well, since I saw it in the theater when it was released. I was surprised to find that The opening theme to TMP was basically the theme to TNG. Was it always this way or is this a re edit of some kind?
For some strange reason my computer rebooted and I have lost a very important word document. I looked everywhere for it on my computer for example in AppData but there is no sign of it.
I found a bunch of .tmp files from that day which could be the document. I have tried opening them with notepad or my browser but they are all gibberish. Several pages worth of symbols.
I am considering getting a software called EditPlus which apparently can open these but I am not sure if it can convert the symbols to the original text.
Any ideas on alternatives to open .tmp files and convert the mess into understandable text?

Hello all, first post here and I'm hoping ya'll can help. I have a 2014 428i xDrive.
Long story short -- the valve stem on one of my tires broke right before I was headed on a long trip. The local tire shop didn't have the right valve stems to match the TPMS sensor, so I had them just install a standard one so I could leave for my trip. They gave me the TPMS sensor and the broken stem.
I ordered a new stem (finally) and it matches the broken one exactly. I had a local dealer install the original TPMS sensor with the new stem and also had them put nitrogen in all the tires. I started the TPMS reset from iDrive and then drove home. It never completed the reset procedure. It also never threw an error, but was still running the reset when I got home. According to Google maps, it is a 13 mile drive. Every other time I've ever done the reset procedure, it seems like it only takes a few minutes to complete (if that).
Do I have to get this reprogrammed at a dealer? Is there a procedure that I can do myself to get this to work? Any help would be appreciated as I leave on Sunday for a 10 hour drive to Vermont and would really like to have this working before we leave. Thank you!

In the mean time, I was trying to figure out a good alternative TMP era ship to put them on. I was thinking maybe a Clarke with a Miranda or Centaur skin, or maybe a Resolute in an Excelsior skin.
I was wondering if anyone had any other advice for a good TMP era ship? I hear the Grissom is good, but I haven't really gotten into figuring out how science builds work yet. I'm also not part of a fleet.

My winter tires do not have TPMS sensors, so every time I get in my car I have a TPMS light on and get tire pressure warnings, it's really annoying lol.
My downloads folder is for stuff I downloaded, I don't want a system folder gumming it up for eternity. I made the browser.cache.disk.parent_directory about:config setting and set it to /home/me/.local/Firefox and it still puts it in the download folder, what gives?
Since I'm not aware of any Youtube Music (music.youtube.com) player on Linux which caches the next entry and is not a web wrapper or use the official (rate-limited) API, I've resorted to using android-x86 with Newpipe in a VM. Newpipe crawls the Youtube website (supporting both the main YT pages and their music streaming service) and presents the results in a local UI. There's an option for audio-only playback, albums are treated as playlists by default and several can be queued at once.
Using a touch-based application on desktop is a bit annoying and reserving 2GB or 4GB of VRAM with some virtual memory to one application is an overkill to some degree. Do you know how to create a "one-liner" of a command which (for instance) executes yt-dlp -f bestaudio <URL> -o /tmp/youtube-music/%(playlist)s/%(playlist_index)s - %(title)s.%(ext)s, followed by mpv <the path, wrapped in quotation marks "">.
I don't know how to create "dynamic" commands similar to this one, the URL of course is always passed manually. Also, rather than cd'ng to the directory, I believe that passing the full path is more compatible (I've had some errors when running mpv * while in a folder, due to some special characters I believe).
