A list of puns related to "Theatre Director"
Hello Reddit! I am Mamoru Hosoda and Iβm a film director, writer, and co-founder of Studio Chizu.
My film Mirai received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature in 2019. My latest film BELLE premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, and opens in North American theatres and IMAX today! You can view the subtitled trailer here and the trailer for the English dub here.
I also directed One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island (2005), The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006), Summer Wars (2009), Wolf Children (2012), and The Boy and the Beast (2015). In addition, I have worked on series like Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Slam Dunk, and Digimon.
I will be responding to questions between 5:30PM and 6:30PM Eastern Time. Feel free to ask about any of my works. I will give my responses through /u/GKIDSofficial.

EDIT from GKIDS: Thank you so much for all your questions! We enjoyed responding to them and wish we could get to more, but unfortunately we're out of time for the day. We are so humbled and amazed by the response BELLE has already received in North America and hope you look forward to seeing it in theatres and IMAX this weekend and beyond.
Send me all the help you can, please! I have to choose a spring production in a week. The play does not have to be Christian-based, but still has to be clean and kid-friendly. I direct a middle/high school group but I would love to do a production more high school leaning.
My preference is a vignette-style play, but I am open to suggestions! I keep hearing about Almost, Maine, but I can't find a place to sample the changes in the middle school adaptation. For example, our kids would not be allowed to talk about alcohol, and the male-male love scene would be out.
Iβve tried looking it up and have not found anything helpful, itβs not a huge deal and itβs probably not a very common problem. But Iβm auditioning for 25th Annual Putnam Country Spelling Bee with a theatre company I havenβt worked with before. I donβt have severe tourettes, and my tics are of course not as bad when Iβm focused on acting, but I feel it is something I want who Iβm working with to know about me, but I donβt know how I would tell them or include it in my resume?
Update: thank you guys for the responses, itβs awesome to see other actors with TS. I just put a sticky note on my resume explaining i have tourettes but that it will most likely not inhibit my stage performance and that I can answer questions if they had any. The two women holding the audition, the director and music director, were so kind and awesome and seem very understanding and chill so Iβm glad Iβll be working with them :)
Hi, I am a new director at my high school. Our lighting is over twenty years old. My administration said that we can update the lighting, and I should present three bundles of lighting, a good, better, and best option. Iβm not sure where to start. We currently have four spotlights and some lighting up on the stage. Any advice or direction is appreciated.
