I walked into the kitchen to put some things away. I had some used silverware in one hand, and a tub of butter, a bag of cheese, and a pouch of sour cream in the other. I approached the sink to put the silverware inside when I accidentally dropped the tub of butter on the ground. My sister, who was at the sink at the time, looked at me and said: "That doesn't go there!" I picked up the tub, looked at her, and said:
"Sorry. Butterfingers."
Washington and Michigan grow both the sweet type, which is great for eating raw, and the sour type, which is used in pies and sauces.
But California grows only the sweet type. It's untarted cherritory.

It's a bit sour, though.
So my mom tells my dad to throw out the sour cream because it went bad. While throwing it out, he said "How can it go bad, the whole thing is sour! I mean, can it get any worse?" I love him.

A friend and I are driving along the motorway and I note about how tall a Hovis (bread bakers) lorry is.
Friend poses the question "I wonder why they need such a tall lorry?"
Without pausing I answer "Because bread rises!"
