A list of puns related to "Signal Fire"
I'm watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and a significant plot point involves a message being sent between two cities by sentries lighting a series of fires across a mountain range, passing along the signal. Obviously, Lord of the Rings is not exactly a realistic movie but I was wondering if there were times and places where signals were transferred over large distances like this? If so I was wondering how reliable it was and who would be at all of the different locations, ready to light the fire signal?
Iβm so sorry but after day 3 I would burning that bitch down π₯π₯
This is not my video, but I felt like sharing it because how cool and unique it is. The model 2 is now removed off the fire truck as proven by a another video I saw of the truck which was uploaded a few years ago and the siren was not there, The model 2 part starts at 0:59 in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WoQKdUKm8o
I have a Sonos Playbar, connected to an LG OLED TV via optical cable. LG TV creates a delay when it's outputting audio to optical in Dolby Digital, so audio is always behind video in my set up. This can't be fixed by Sonos, because Sonos isn't receiving the audio signal quickly enough.
Thankfully, my Fire TV 4K stick has a AV Sync Tuning feature, where I can set Fire TV to send audio signal ahead of video signal, to offset the audio delay my TV introduces.
I want to buy an Apple TV 4K. Does Apple TV have a feature like Fire TV's AV Sync Tuning, where you can manually set Apple TV to send audio signal ahead of video signal? (using HDMI)
I know this has been asked before but Which would you choose, specifically for temperature control, and given that i can get a thermoworks signals for $190, open box?
I was pretty set on a fireboard 2, but that's a very tempting price.
I have many thermoworks products and trust them, but know that the fireboard 2 is well-regarded for its ability to control temp. I have BBQ guru fan already, will the signals work with that? Or does it only work with the billows fan? Curious what y'all think!
Any one know of any options for different accessories to replace the fire rod/ whistle or sharpener on the Leatherman Signal? Official Leatherman doesn't have anything but I was also wondering about 3rd party stuff.
I emailed the company with my suggestion to have different options. I listed 1) Bit driver extender w/ 1 or 2 extra bits 2) small light source 3) Small pen. 4) Military specific tool; firearm punch, carbon scraper. 5) tweezers 6) ect. Hopefully they'll answer back with feedback. If they do I will try to update this post.
