A list of puns related to "Reading Fightin Phils"
Going to the Fightin's game in Richmond tonight and was hoping someone here could give me a name or two of somebody on the roster I should keep my eye on. Thanks in advance and fuck the Mets.
Pics, they're truly a thing of beauty.
Ok, so I want to say that this book was a surprisingly fun read. I don't take progression fantasies as seriously as when I read something like Stormlight Archive (by Sanderson). So my typical way of rating a progression fantasy is "How much fun did I have reading it?" and I have to say I had a lot of fun reading Bastion. You did a great job /u/Phil_Tucker !

I'm not a big baseball fan but my young daughter enjoys going to games. I'd like to take to a Figtin Phils or IronPigs game and am about equidistant between Allentown and Reading. Can anyone tell me if there's a reason to choose one or the other for someone who's not a big fan of either team? Does one team/ballpark offer a better fan experience than the other that's likely to be more fun? Sorry if this is a well trod and/or controversial subject.
Thanks!
Has anyone joined this club? There's two different memberships to choose from and they both include 2 complimentary tickets to a select few home games. I got the email about it today!
Does anyone know if this is a yearly payment?
The Trenton Thunder is my local Double-A team and like any Minor League Team they like to have fun.
Since pitchers and catchers reported for the Yanks today they did a deal where the temp in Tampa dictated single game ticket prices today. Temp was 63, so tickets are $6.30
If you wanna check out any of the Phils prospects, the Fightin's make the trip to Trenton on these dates:
Monday June 24 7pm (Neck Pillow Giveaway) <-- I'll be there. I'd buy you a drink, maybe
Tuesday June 25 7pm (Bat Boy Tommy Bobblehead Giveaway and Dollar Dog Night)
Wednesday June 26 7pm (Baseball Bingo, Fireworks and Wine Night)
Friday August 30 7pm (Pork Roll Fridays)
Saturday August 3 7pm (Fireworks)
Sunday September 1 7pm (Fireworks)
Monday September 2 1pm
There's no code or anything, just get tickets before 11:59pm EST and you're good to go. They did something similar last season with the home run derby, further distance dictacted how much they would subtract from the normal price. Got a couple of games for a little over $7.
And if anyone is weirdly worried about distance the drive from Citizens Bank Park to Arm & Hammer Park is 36 miles straight up 95.
And their parking is $5. Thunder's website is right here
Purchased a membership just for the 4 game series between the Phils and Marlins and I received 2 free tickets, ~$20 of concession food given to me at the High & Inside pub, $12 concession voucher, one early admission to BP, Q&A and meetup with TMac and Murph and 10% off at Majestic clubhouse.
Here's the official page to sign up and a list of all the benefits.
It doesn't say the details of the "bus trip" on there, and I lost the page that talks about it, but here's what I remember: $80 for a 2-way bus trip to Reading from CBP, seats in suite on Reading Harley Davidson night, a bunch of free stuff, a free hat, all-you-can-eat buffet, raffles on bus ride there and back.
I know this is a great deal, and I shouldn't be telling everybody, but I love you guys. This is a great deal, and I'd love to share it with you all as I won't be able to take advantage of any other perks for 2018. Hope this informs some people.
Ill be road tripping later this summer and will be stopping in to the breakfast game on Aug 7 vs the Akron Ducks. Anybody have suggestions for the stadium? Where should i sit? Should i get the buffet? Is there something special i should eat or drink when I'm there? It's a morning game so things may be different, what should I expect? Im very excited to say the least and I want to make the most of this experience.
First oh my god its so fricking obvious now why Jake has a drug problem. I always loved phil and now I just dont understand why Josh idolizes him the way he does. In the book Josh stated phil provided him with cigarettes, alcohol and a playboy magazine at 10 years old! What the hell is that like seriously?? His ex wife Mary said she was pushed and pinned to the wall by Phil. And the most shocking and disturbing to me was the fact that Phil kept Mary away from her sons for 15 years. 15 years. That made me sick because during that time phil married Teresa and she gave the boys black eyes and phil didnt do anything for his boys, he didnt divorce her until they were grown up! Phil left home at 15 and made Josh do the same thing and Josh had to drop out of high school because he couldn't do that and work full time. Also phil and teresa used drugs when the boys were growing up and phil was still doing cociane when he had that embolism in 2008 so its really no wonder jake is the way he is i mean he never had a chance with the fucked up environment he grew up in. This book just was not a good cast on Phil whatsoever. It was shocking and gritty and heartbreaking. Has anyone else read the book? What did yall think if you have read it?
Hi there. I have tons of nonfiction books (English version) in my computer. I'd like to share my favorite books and my thoughts inspired from them. So I started a Non-fiction reading WeChat group. If you are also interested in books related to psy, biz, (general)phil and also use WeChat, Great, welcome to join us! Let's grow ourselves from the group. Be better you and better us :))
