I remember fondly dining in Tokyo in this cozy little tucked away Okonomiyaki bar with this awesome chef who had lived in Perth for a while. Honestly one of the best dining experiences i've ever had. The Okonomiyaki was so delicious, he cooked it in front of us and it was just us and him. Great times.
But yeah, i was wondering if anyone can recomend a place in Perth for good Okonomiyaki? For anyone that doesn't know, its japanese savory pancake meal i believe okonomiyaki means 'pancake as you like it'? It looks like that may be the classic okonomiyaki style with the noodles, im trying to find one with the cabbage base.
As tittle, where can I find good okonomiyaki beside Maido? To be honest, I think Maidoโs okonomiyaki is a bit heavy on the batter!

Where's your go-to place for this? I made some at home many years ago from some online recipes and really loved it. I think I'd really like to try the real thing though, and not my janky homemade stuff.
Monjayaki is basically just cabbage, fillings, and about a tablespoon of flour (five or six grams of carbs). I still prefer okonomiyaki... Wonder if there aren't any low-carb alternatives.

Had it while in Japan some years ago and loved it but havn't really been able to find it over here.
Does someone of you know a place in Munich to get authentic Japanese Okonomiyaki? How I would love to have this taste again in my mouth, but Japan is so far away nowadays :(
