A list of puns related to "Mammalian"
I was wondering if there was a mod out there that removes the turrets from the mammalian shipset? I think the ships look beautiful to me but the turrets, more specifically the size of the turrets look ridiculous
I apologize if this question is a bit strange.
This is only for fun speculation.
I'd say they are in the Carnivora order and in the Caniformia suborder, mainly due to their nose having a dog-like appearance, but in their own family due to their strange, long, narrow ears and their tail.
Keen to get thoughts and opinions from fellow experts and hobbyists alike.
Do we need to understand human intelligence to make true AGI
or, more generally speaking,
do you think that higher-Intelligence can be decoupled from biological processes?
If not, is emulation and symbiosis the way forward?
If you do think it is decoupled, what would the limits of this intelligence look like?
Thanks for reading.
If a home or apartment already has a cat or dog living there, your dog that doesn't live at the place you are visiting should not be brought along. That is the home and territory of the resident cats and dogs. You cause stress to the pets by forcing your unknown dog into their territory. Part of the responsibility and cost of owning a pet is finding a sitter.
Also, even if you've brought your pet to your family's or friend's place before, it is a nice courtesy to ask if you can bring your dog again every time you want to visit. Your friends might have been fine with the idea of the first visit before it happened, but afterward feel too embarrassed to tell you not to bring your fur baby to their place again.
Aquatic mammals evolved on land for awhile before embracing more water bound life. This process also applies on aquatic reptiles, since the basic of reptilian evolution is for a better adaptation on land.
Is it possible or necessary for life to adopt reptilian/mammalian traits on a planet without terrestrial body?
Island gigantism and the absence of large mammalian predators handed the Haast's Eagle an ecological niche (vaguely) similar to some of the African big cats: taking down large grazing animals.
Presumably, the Haast's Eagle as it actually existed would get pushed out of the apex predator niche if it had survived and was (somehow) introduced to Africa.
But could a flying bird of prey get big and good enough to be able to out-compete mammalian predators comparable to what you see in modern African forests, shrublands, and grasslands?
If so, what would need to happen in evolutionary terms to build a flying bird of prey capable of competing directly with lion or leopard analogues? (Short of the mammalian predators getting nerfed or wiped out by something.)
