My protagonist is a heterosexual male human with a biological need to engage in intercourse with female humans and produce offspring to further propagate the human species. He automatically assesses the viability of partners by analyzing the properties of their mammary glands (size, bounce, etc.), which helps to determine the amount of nutrients said partners would provide to their offspring..

It would be unfaithful to the character for me not to describe the mammary glands in full detail, so how do I write about tits well?

My female Sib was around six months old when I noticed her mammary glands sagging a bit. Is this normal for Sibs in general, male or female, fixed or not?

So today I found a tumour on one of my girls, managed to get her seen later on at the vets and it was confirmed to be a tumour. The vet said the vets course of action would be to have it surgically removed. I also have the option to have it sent off to the lab to have it checked.

I guess I just wanna know how others have dealt with post surger care. Do I need to keep her by herself? I do have a spare cage so I can separate her.

Any other advice is appreciated ☺️

It is no secret that Sun Tzu's The Art of War is a popular book amongst the Wall Street elite. So if I were a depraved, worthless hedge fund manager stuck in the unenviable position of being forced to purchase the millions of counterfeit shares I had created in my efforts to deliberately bankrupt a viable company and walk away with tax free profits, what would I do? My only hope at this point is to make retail investors anxious or frightened or uncertain, thus causing them to sell their shares at prices that are astronomically lower than their actual value. Otherwise I will not survive and I won't be able to continue my acts of financial terrorism that have allowed me to steal literally hundreds of trillions of dollars from honest, hard working people over the past few decades.

How might I attempt to create FUD that could potentially weaken the apes' morale? Well, they are rather jubilant and many seem to be convinced of imminent victory given everything happening at the moment.

Or as Sun Tzu more simply stated:

Perhaps it's time for me to unleash a massive FUD campaign or create another colossal dip in an effort to shake some apes off the tree?

I must continue to guard against overconfidence and a mercurial temperament.

While I am certainly happy with my investment in GME, I am not celebrating anything yet. I am not concerned with dates or timelines.

I have a 4 year old female dog, not spayed and has been pregnant prior, like a year ago. Her mammary glands near the heat or during the heat cycle swell and lactate. I was trying to look up if this is normal or not and getting varying information. There are no lumps, no redness or pain, nipples are same size also. I’m just asking is this normal? Do other people notice this with other female dogs? Should I be worried?

Also side note, after giving birth she did develop mastitis, I caught it in time and was treated properly till it went away.

A pregnant cat showed up on my back porch a couple weeks ago. She is super fat, and the babies are moving around like crazy. She isn’t showing any nesting behavior, but her mammary glands doubled in size overnight. Does anyone know about how much longer? I’m just worried because I don’t know how far along she is, and I want to make sure that nothing is wrong. What I’ve read online is that you should seek help from the vet if it has been more than 70 days, and I have no idea what day she is on. Thanks for any help!

K. So I've always been told that mammary glands evolved from sweat glands. We can see this in monotremes which literally sweat milk, rather than having nipples like many other mammals.

Yet, in the past several years, it has also come to my attention that the ability to sweat to any considerable degree is almost uniquely human — most other mammals have little to no ability to sweat. Horses, hippos, monkeys, and other apes seem to be among the only other mammals besides humans who can properly sweat. And, to my best understanding, no non-mammalian animals sweat — or at least I couldn't find any indicator of it.

But if mammary glands evolved from sweat glands, then this would seem to imply that pre-mammalian synapsids did sweat.

So, what gives? Did our ancient ancestors almost 200 million years ago sweat — only for our early mammal ancestors to lose that ability — only for it to re-evolve in a few branches of primates and ungulates? Is this an example of atavism? Am I mistaken in some of my facts? What exactly is going on here?

Right, so this uses a combination of the Bloomberg Terminal data, a known number of $GME account holders on one UK broker, and some rounding and extrapolation.

From a rather shady broker in the UK, they give a hotlist of their top 100 held securities. For months $GME has hovered around or just below 40,000 accounts that are hodling. (I share a weekly Friday update on these numbers, to get an idea of Paperhand numbers).

So, if we assume the number of accounts hodling $GME back in Jan was 40,000 (would've been higher, it's still 36,000 now and was 43,000 back in May) and give everyone a starting hand of 7 shares (to be conservative), we get 280,000 as our base number.

Now let's assume those hodlers have bought just one more share per month. Another 7 each then, so doubling to 560,000 shares.

Now the interesting part; from Bloomberg Terminal data we know the UK hodls approx 1% of shares, so let's make things tasty and multiply through by 100, to give 56,000,000... 😳

Huh? But that's over the free float given institutional ownership isn't it?

And we've only assumed the number of UK shares from the data on one broker... There are a LOT more brokers and a FUCK TON more UK hodlers than this, and I can hardly get a 'multiplying by 100' sum wrong.

For shits and giggles, why not take the number of UK brokers as 5, with the same average numbers as this broker; suddenly 280,000,000 shares. What if you also assume each Ape has bought two shares a month since Jan instead of one; BAM! 420 MILLION SHARES!! (without being unrealistic whatsoever IMHO)... 🤓😁

I don't know why I didn't think to do this before. I guess because we already know how many times over we own the float. It just feels nice when the numbers are so SIMPLE to confirm.

tl;dr is basically, using (VERY conservative) data from just one UK broker on number of accounts hodling $GME, we can easily get to a number of shares owned over and above the free float. If you begin to multiply through for number of UK brokers, and a more likely number of shares hedl by Apes the number gets fucking silly!

I need some personal experience to help make a decision!

We hold and love our winter white, Tutti every day. She’s the best little friend ever. I noticed on Sunday that she had a bulge on her belly, near the inside of her back leg. I was shocked at how large it was since I hadn’t noticed it the day before. She went to the vet today and we were told she has a tumor on her mammary gland. She’s 1 1/2, so the vet gave the below options. My heart hurts and I’m wondering if anyone has an context or life experience here so that we know what’s coming.

Option 1: Do nothing and allow things to progress until she passes away on her own.

Option 2: Surgery- which is risky due to her size - main concern of vet is after care as she cannot clean/groom the incision and well, hamsters are natural groomers. The vet said that IF she made it through surgery, it would be hell to keep her from grooming.

Option 3: Euthanize her sometime between now and whenever depending on pain level/quality of life as the tumor grows.

I can’t stand the thought of her being in pain or having a horrible life, but I have NO idea what the future holds. Any personal experiences here are absolutely welcome.

We have a scientific definition of milk, and these plant products do not meet that definition, so they should only get to use terms like “milk substitute” or “milk-like product.” Sounds pointless, but it bothers me. Grinding up plant parts and mixing the result with water simply doesn’t make milk, so labeling it as such is false advertising, and probably should not be legal.

By the way, I actually really enjoy some of these products, but I just want companies to be accurate with their labels.

I had armpit lipo during my surgery, and I noticed that my right side is still fatter than the slimmer-looking left side. Saw my doc today and he said after everything heals and there’s still a lump there, it’s probably a mammary gland there and we can do a small procedure to remove it to achieve the look I want 😱😪. Damn mammary glands, Y U DO THAT. 😒. Also, why couldn’t he have noticed that while I was under??? 😐 Anyone else have that issue?
