After purchasing a brush, ink, and pen, I practiced several times and completed it for the first time. Only W&N india black ink was used. I need to improve my inexperience.

What’s the wait time for using watercolor over india ink?
The ink keeps smudging into the paint : / Originally I was using Strathmore Bristol 300 series paper with a dip pen. 24 hours later I tested watercolors over the top of them and it smudged.
So I figured it might be a paper problem, I got Canson XL watercolor paper. I did a short test (half hour wait) and it smudged.
Has anyone tested this and know what the wait time is for painting over india ink?

Back in the 90's those pens were my favourite. Wing Sung is one such brand, a friend got from Kolkata, India. Scribbling and testing it for the first time, thus the ink patch.

I just discovered that people use inks for minis and I have no idea what I'm doing, but I saw a 12 color pack (15ml bottles) of Dr. Ph Martin's Bombay India Ink on sale for $11 so I got it hoping it was a great deal and everything was going to work out nicely.... Will it?
I have done 0 research into using inks yet so I don't even know if this is the correct type of ink.

If some manufacturers have a particular series which fits the criteria do add the name of the series too.
Note_1: Guys you can add any ink made in India which sells for less than or equal to ₹1.5/ml as having less than ₹1/ml wold make this list very small
Note_2: I will keep on adding to this list as and when I can verify that commented manufacturer indeed is selling it at that price point.

Question: is India ink bad for dip pens?
So I'm looking at the ph Martin bombay India ink set but I recently heard in a YouTube video that India ink is bad for dip pens. I tried googling it but all I got was links for fountain pens, not dip pens. So I'm asking you guys, will India ink damage my nibs? Or can I use it without worry as long as I wash my nibs, as I always do.
