Reading tweets from unhinged pro mandates liberals is frightening for 2 reasons. 1) they are supporting fascist, discriminatory policies that ruin many peoples lives. 2) they are laying the groundwork for an extreme right wing backlash. All these smug liberals salivating over punishing "antivaxxers" or "trump supporters" have no fucking clue what they're in for. Biden will not be president forever. A right winger will be elected at some point. And boy, will the right want to fight back. They're setting dangerous precedents that WILL be used against the left.
I think stuff like abortion and perhaps even gay rights are on the chopping block. It'll be near impossible to formulate an argument for abortion since most feminists have now thrown bodily autonomy out the window. I can even see eugenics making a comeback. The vaxports and discrimination based on medical status have already laid the groundwork for this. The entire free healthcare debate is a total joke now and the door has been opened for all kinds of medical discrimination. The whole idea of sacrificing yourself or your child's wellbeing "for the greater good" is exactly the same logic as eugenics relies on. I can easily see an argument on why for example poor people should be restricted on how many kids they have "for the greater good". Liberals have no fucking clue how dangerous what they're doing is. And eventually it will come for them.
One of the most astonishing things to witness is leftists (not liberals) believing that the capitalist state is on their side. That all these fascistic measures are actually for the good of the people. They don't realize that they're giving the beast more power that will be used against them, sooner or later. Or perhaps it already is, they just haven't realized yet.
By time the pacific expansion came out, there were definitely still problems in BFV, but a majority of what was hated bitterly at launch was gone/improved and it seemed as though DICE were making way for some awesome new content. It almost felt like it was on the right track to become a truly awesome battlefield experience like BF4. And even though I'm really excited that there's a new Battlefield game out to play and cant wait for all the new content, fixes, balances and (hopefully) platoon support and rentable servers, I would've rather played BFV for another year with new content and gameplay improvements while DICE had some more time to lay the groundwork for 2042.
I'm not saying that 2042 is total garbage at all, portal is excellent *chef kiss*, AOW has its moments, and for a Battlefield game on launch the bugs aren't the worst, but over all it (somehow) feels like a step back from the previous games in terms of movement, communication, gun balance, audio (definitely), depth and in some areas, map design.
All I can do now is hope to God that DICE really work on 2042 over the coming years, and either prove the community wrong on certain changes we've criticised, or improve them them/rebuild them to hopefully make a legendary Battlefield™ game that we can all reminisce about 10 years from now.
Any groundwork activities I can do just at walk? My boy is very grumpy and doesn’t see the point in our walks in the arena and definitely will not push himself to a such a pointless trot 🙄

I was dying when Tami was bragging in the final moments of the finale saying she "laid the groundwork" for the future generation of reality TV stars — followed immediately by footage from some of the absolute bottom barrel modern reality shows out there (Real Housewives, Love & Hip Hop, etc) and the most gratig and overly self-aware "stars."

I have an OTTB that I’m restarting or I guess she is restarted but my end goal is a horse that is 100% responsive to just my body and the lightest of cues and I want her to be quick with it. She knows all the basics and even knows the barrel pattern but I want to feel like I’m riding a $100,000 horse and I know she’s capable of it. For the next 30 days we’re going to work on 18 groundwork basics. I personally train with pressure, release, praise and breathing. So I use pressure wether it be kissing, a lead rope, the point of a finger, of a whip (I don’t hit her with it) in a way so she’ll understand what I want her to do. When she’s doing it right I breathe deeply to let her know I’m happy with what she’s doing, once she’s done it, I praise her by saying good girl and rubbing her neck and under her chin and deep breaths. If she doesn’t do it well I may use a bit more pressure or give her some more time to think and figure it out, once she does it I praise. When I’m just starting to teach her something I ask for the smallest effort, like when I taught her to backup the first time, I only ask for one step back, immediately release pressure and praise. As times goes on I’ll ask for more steps and a quicker speed, little by little though. One step, three steps, five steps and I make sure she’s backing up herself in a good frame before I ask for more and more. I only ask for her to do it correctly 3-5 times before we stop, so if she does it 5 times in two minutes then that’s all we need to work on it. So here’s my plan of going about these 18 things. Today I started with just standing still, afterwards I took her on a trail walk for her to enjoy. Tomorrow we’ll work on flexing left, right, and down, but before that we’ll do a review of standing still and after that and flexing I’ll let her out in the pasture for a bit (she’s in during the day), after work I always try to do something relaxing for her as well as stretching after she walks a bit. So the days we work we’ll start with a review of what we did last time, then work on the next skill, then relax. So my 18 things are stand still, flexing, backup, yield hindquarters, yield shoulders, half pass, side pass, lunge, stop while lunging, change directions, slow down, speed up, good wtc, and ground poles. With the lunging skills I’ll be doing that every other day not everyday and only for going over the skills, not working her much at all so maybe I’ll spend 10 minutes max doing that and a lot of those days wi
