New player here, I've just upgraded from my Dugong to an Azimut, only to realise that there's only 3 diving suit lockers.
Is there a way to add more, or is it just the time to learn to not sink my sub every mission?
Today I went on my first dives with a dry suit... and it was an interesting and kind of weird experience not...getting wet. But fun and went well. But when I first put my face in the water, it was such a shell shock cold it felt hard to breath on my regulator. It went away pretty quickly... but it was such an unpleasant feeling not feeling like you are getting enough air. Is this... just something you get use to as a cold water diver. If it was cold for me, I cannot imagine being one of those divers who dives under ice (which my instructor does).
Eversince the last update the AI just keep wearing them until oxygen runs out, and then drop them anywhere, will this be fixed anytime soon and is there anything I can do?
is there any actual way to disable it in game? or if not via a workshop mod that's client sided (if those exists)
i'm in a MP server i have a tiger thresher gene with 100% and i constantly wear a diving suit with no oxygen tanks in it as i don't need them, but the alarm buzzing is actually going to make me keel over and cry in a corner
I just found out this is possible and I wanted to try to wire this up in my sub. I very quickly ran into a problem however, the junction box in the room already has 4 connections so I am only able to connect 1 device. What can I do? Is there some kind of small splitter or something I can add in the sub?(nowhere to add another junction box in the room)
I could be happy with just the 5 shelves wired up, but the gold standard would be shelves + lockers
I was watching a documentary today where a diver goes down from a boat with an "old fashioned" diving suit. It looks like it had weighted boots to bring the diver down and it looks as if there's a long hose attached that goes up above the water so the diver can breathe.
It has an old bell type hood? Don't know if thats what its called.
He basically looks like an astronaut.
Weren't these considered old fashioned diving set ups?
Are they still used today?
We just swam 4000m upwards because our submarine combusted to get to a station aaand... it doesn't count :( We couldn't get a new submarine or visit the station proper. Really sad.
So the issue started after the update I think, everytime I tell a bot to "repair damaged mechanical systems" (they only get stuck on this command), the bot will run to the diving suit rack, change, and get stuck on the bottom airlock ontop of the hatch going back and forth as if it can't reach the problem, I tried to go out and fix every block around the ship on its hull, nothing was wrong with the ship, I even went to do a "repair all" damage, the issue persisted (I think it started to happen after a swarm attack)
It's very frustrating and I don't know what to do anymore, I spent all my campaign money on the humpback so I can't go and buy another ship for the hope that it's not bugged
Anybody had a similar problem? What do I do? My mechanical systems are breaking mid-missions because I can't tell bots to repair them, they remain in diving suits until they deplete the entire oxygen stock
Title. The game says the abyss suit is rated for 10k, and it seems that vanilla suit is either 3k or 3.5k.
However, both the game and the community don't give even a ballpark number for the combat diving suit, other than "it's better than the vanilla suit".
Was wondering if anyone on here knew.
