Close-up shots of an antique 1840s dress I own. I recorded this clip to edit into a longer video I was doing on this dress. This clip focuses on the sleeves, cartridge pleating and inner bodice construction. v.redd.it/jzsm3ujic4881

Cheap cartridges to practice soldering battery clips?

I've never used a soldering iron before and have a number of my favorite Famicom games whose batteries I would like to try to replace with soldered clips. But before I ruin a Dragon Quest III cartridge (or 4 of them), does anyone have any recommendations for a battery-save game that goes for fairly cheap online, so that I could practice soldering? It can literally be anything at all; I just would like to try it a few times before I work on something with actual sentimental value to me.

Carcano not feeding? Recently got this and bought a clip and a box of PPU ammo. It won’t feed properly. The cartridge does not get pushed high enough onto the boltface. You need a tool to push it up, or else the whole gun is jammed up and it won’t even extract. Everything is clean and lubed. 1/2

[WTS] Kaweco Sport - Brass, EF nib (With clip, cartridges)

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are doing well and taking care. For sale is a Kaweco Brass Sport. A couple of things to note;

  • PM: Please post a message here before private messaging me. If I get two requests for the same item around the same time, I generally go with the person who posted a message here first. You're also welcome to PM me with best offers.
  • Questions: If you have any questions or need more information or images, please feel free to send me any questions or requests through a private message.
  • Other Items: I have a few other posts open right now, including Esterbrooks, a Wahl Oxford, and a Sheaffer Touchdown. Please feel free to check them out and make offers.

Verification: https://imgur.com/a/fVMgu1G

  • Overview: I don't think this pen needs much of an introduction. It is the modern version of Kaweco's classic model, the Sport. Is sports an extra fine steel nib and comes with a removable clip. This pen fills via cartridges or Kaweco's converter. I don't have a Kaweco converter to go with it, but I do have a pack of black cartridges that haven't been opened. You can also refill the cartridges with your own ink to get a better filling capacity than Kaweco's converter. The original case is also included. I had bought this pen from someone with plans to try and force a patina on it, but never got around to it due to other stuff going on in my life.
  • Condition: (C) The pen is overall in good shape. There is a slight patina as expected, since this is a raw brass pens. There are no significant marks, dings, or other issues. There may be minor signs of use, but it is hard to determine due to the light patina.
  • Price: I'm asking $60 shipped CONUS or best offer.
