A list of puns related to "Camper Trailer"
I will never be able to afford traditional housing at this point. For anyone whoβs experienced alternate living, could you please share your experience?
After a year of camping, I wanted to share pics of our converted motorcycle trailer with everyone. During covid, my wife and I got the itch to get on the road and were looking at various A/B/C class RV's When we told my father (Industrial engineer) our plans, he offered to convert an old motorcycle trailer we had into a livable camper. At first, we thought we needed more space but now that we have been out on the road, we could not be more pleased with the design and have learned a ton of things about proper RV/camper maintenance. So glad we did not bite the bullet on a massive A class. For those interested here are the specs:

The longest trip we have gone on to date was 10 days (with access to full shower/bathroom facilities) to Eureka Springs for the 4th of July. We could have gone another week or two easily but had to get back to the "real world". This year we are planning to make some trips out to the east/west coast.
Enjoy......

Bonjour, Quebec! Je m'enseigne le français, mais... I'm still not quite there yet. :-)
I am hoping my trip to Quebec that I had to cancel in 2020 can finally happen this year in late summer or early autumn.
My questions is very specific. There is a parking lot in old Quebec that says you can park a camper there. Is that true? (105 Rue Abraham Martin #155, Quebec City, Quebec G1K 8N1)
Any suggestions where I can park my trailer otherwise? I very much want to spend at least one day and night walking the old city and would love if this was possible without needing to drive in and out of the area. My Trailer is 21' if that changes things.
If you are able, thanks for your help, Quebec! And if there are any other must sees you think I would enjoy that I wont find on the tourist and travel sites, I'd love to hear your opinions.
We're a family of four looking for something small to adventure in. Two small kids.
Hi! I am new here so delete if not allowed! I am looking for someone to answer some questions about living in a camper/trailer full time. I have been overwhelmed trying to do my own research and i would like to talk with someone personally about what to do, how to do it and what not.
Thought the r/cargocamper community would appreciate this
Once I obtain a small motorhome camper van or trailer what would be some good options for parking for each semester? Thank you in advance for any tips suggestions or ideas!
When we got our camper and EV, there wasn't a lot of data available on the effect of towing on range, so I thought I'd compile some detailed data about our recent road trip.
Vehicle: 2021 Tesla Model Y AWD with towing package
Trailer: Aliner Expedition. We previously weighed it at 2680 pounds on a CAT scale. It might be 100 pounds heavier since we packed more for this trip. It's a popup and is about as tall as the car when popped down. Details in this post. It tends to be tongue-heavy with the propane tanks. We managed to get it just under the rated 350pounds, but since the back seat of the car was empty, we weren't too scared cutting it closer.
##TL;DR
Total range on 100% charge - 130 miles
Average speed when cruising at 65mph including charging stops - 35mph
"Sweet spot" distance to maximize SC speed: 60-70 miles
We were able to charge at every campsite and usually get to 100% before leaving. This was more difficult in sites that only offered 30A/120V. Typically, the voltage would dip and the charger would drop from 24A to 16A. At 50A/240V sites, it was very quick.
Had to drop the trailer at about 1/3 of the stops. Next time we'll plan to skip the non-pull-through Superchargers.

Who tows offrad with their Jimny?
Would be keen to hear experiences from the cummunity for offroad towing. I've towed trailers around town, not even very heavy, and you sure feel it. Makes me wonder what its like offroad.
Been doing research on ultralight campers or offroad trailers specificlally in the AUS market. So many are marketed as ultralight but have dry weights of 650/700+kg. Would love to get something in the future but dont want to be towing around 700KG to carry 300kg of stuff.
Search bar didnβt yielded any definitive answers from past posts. Has anyone found a camper or pop up tent trailer that would work with the hybrid? Everything Iβve found on my own seems to be $40k or right at the weight line to the point I donβt think I could put both myself and my dog in the truck while towing it.
Suggestions?
