Here's a Black Rhinoceros I drew in graphite, completed just yesterday (image size 36cm*54cm). I scan it with the Epson v39, and stitch images together with Hugin or Microsoft ICE (whichever is in less of a grump that day). Then I clean up and refine levels with Darktable. Hope you like it :)
Rhinoceros Hornbill plumage is mainly black, with white legs, and vent, and a black band with whitetail. The big bill and casque are habitually orange to red, from preen oil rubbed on from the preen gland above the tail & eyes of the malebird are normally red with black rims and white with red rims

TIL Zambia's Mweru Wantipa National Park has had no management and protection for several decades, and lacks visitor facilities. Takes place on a barren African plain, measuring 100m by 100m with walls around the edges. There is grass, but it is not tall, and there is a watering hole with a muddy section in the center of the arena.
These are eight totally average 13 year old boys in this patrol (Weight: 100 lbs [45 kg], Height: 61 in [155 cm]). For the sake of irony, let's pretend when they made their patrol, they called themselves the Rhino Patrol. They all just came back from Boy Scout Summer Camp and just got their Totin' Chips, which allows them to carry knives, and they got their dads to buy them a Boy Scout^TM Knife, which has a 3 inch (8 cm) blade. This is their only weapon. They are in their Boy Scout summer camp t-shirts and Boy Scout shorts.
Hunger and thirst are not problems (read: assume they are full and hydrated and do not need to worry about eating or drinking), but stamina is. There is no time limit, and the weather is set to a sunny day on the African savanna.

Black Rhinoceros Beetle (I think) I just found this little guy (dead) in the dirt. I looked it up and these guys usually aren’t found in the area of nsw, Australia where I live. Does anyone know the best way to preserve these kind of beetles? If not I’ll give it a funeral :)
