Iโm sorry if this isnโt the right place for this, but Iโm just having issues understand what is which.
I have an assignment due and itโs taking me to describe a piece of art using the formal elements and principles of design.
I just canโt figure out which is what.
Like I understand that color pallet is important when selecting colors for the scene and the emotions you want to evoke, and that perspective is important when showing a space and adding depth to a scene.
But I canโt for the life of me figure out which is what. I donโt know what box to categorize these things into.
Okay so! Iโll leave this short and sweet. I am not a makeup artist, but I do have a degree in art and design and there is a massive tip that I am hoping may help everyone design amazing looks:
Behold!: the power of Adobe Color (previously Adobe Kuler)

What the heck is Adobe Color??? WELL ! I was hoping you might ask. Now, there is a science behind colors and why some colors look better with others, yet clash and look bad with different colors even if both colors are very pretty. For example a fiery orange might look amazing as a makeup, but it is always going to look terrible if you are using one single shade of beautiful orange and then attempt to use a green graphic eyeliner with no other variations in color.
When you use this link Iโve shown you, with the โcreateโ setting, and then you pull the menu to switch to โAnalogous Colorโ you will be able to move the little circles to include a range of shades that cover from orange to green. Using the analogous color selection, all the additional colors that appear on that bar are the colors you need to apply these colors harmoniously to create an attractive look.
There are different ways to mix color, which I will list them here so you may understand what Iโm trying to explain:
Using rich colors to harmonize them. As a rule, when using analogous color mixing, you do not want to mix warm to cool colors. That means you should not go crazy and try to mix colors that are too far from each other on the color wheel. For good combinations using analogous, imagine cutting the wheel in half in any direction and do not exceed half or you will most likely not have a good look.
This is when you want to use a single specific color but need help on determining what shades of that color will look good together.
Triadic color schemes are the most difficult to work with in any design medium because they are the easiest to mess up. They are three points on the color wheel of equal distance apart, spanning the entire color wheel. For example: red, blue, and yellow. This color scheme is considered energetic and funโwhich is why we often see childrenโs toys applying this color scheme in daily life.
This is when you want to blend warm colors to cool colors on the direct opposite side of the color wheel, this style will cause one specific color to pop. This is very good in times where you want

Are there any exercises online or books explaining the exercises that teach design elements and principles through hands on experience such as using black and white paper and cutting out shapes and pasting them in the other paper to represent the principles?
One of the things that I love about this anime is how perfectly they all flow together especially in their fight scenes, and one particular scene that completely highlights these elements is Endeavor vs. the Nomus. It's incredible how they sync the punches, the camera cuts, the Nomu falling, the Nomu's wing flapping, Endeavor's flame activation and spear throw, heck even the changing the color of the flames to blue all to the beats of the OST "Just Another Hero." I feel like the total sound design isn't appreciated enough.

Does anyone here know if there's a library of "web-elements" somewhere on the internet, like different visual variations of headers, features, galleries etc to take inspiration from when designing a website? I know Elementor gives the user the alternative to browse an elements library when building a site on it, but It's not that good.
Is there anything else like this?
