With this, i should be done fiddling with this codebase for a good while. Give me a shout if you find any major bugs, this should be a very stable build now that i've ironed out some rare bugs and cleaned some code up.
Hi, incoming freshman here. I am considering CS and Art because I really love both. The worst part is I am not sure if I will be able to handle them, like what many people said, and that I wonβt be able to take as many of other interesting classes.
My 2nd option is to do CS and do Art just 1 course maybe per sem. But I donβt like this as much because that means I wouldnβt be able to do art in depth.
In case anyone asked why I didnβt apply to the dual degree program, I was scared :(
Hello, I am pursuing a career as a visual development artist and illustrator, and I was wondering whether you guys think that a fine arts program would theoretically be sufficient enough to train a vis dev artist, or whether it's a lot better to do an illustration or animation program? I'm asking, because there are some art programs in countries like Germany, Spain, and Korea that are free or very inexpensive, and I think it would be amazing to study abroad, but those programs are typically fine arts, rather than illustration specializations. I'm not sure if it would be worth it to pursue a fine arts degree over an illustration degree, just for the experience of living in another country (I'm from the U.S.). I love travel an dots a dream of mine to live abroad, but my career is my main priority. What are your thoughts? Thank you!
For extra info, I have my associates degree and am ready to transfer, I have a good amount saved up for living in another country (I've saved for about 2 years). I've also considered online courses like CGMA but that's another subject lol.
"It seems like a visual effect, a piece of gravity defying wizardry created in a computer. But itβs not."
except there are tons of VFX techniques, computers, and ARTISTS involved from previz to final delivery, and they still made the choreography shine and the moment to be magical. Why companies still produce this "no vfx" bullshit is beyond me, be aware and share.
(P.S. they actually mocapped the dancers and had a whole real-time 3D section of the block for the director to choose the perfect camera angles during previz)
Im a visual art (painting) lover and a friend(ESFJ) asked me what emotions I felt when I looked/liked a piece of art.
I realised, I don't really relate emotionally to art. She then asked me how I relate or why I like certain pieces and honestly, im not sure?
Btw im really into surrealism art. It just feeds my abstract mind. (I attached some paintings I like for a visual)
Any thoughts ?
** The art below is not my art, it is art I like and that I get inspired from**

I'm not just unskilled at art, I just haven't enjoyed it my whole life. I was averse to it. I recognize its value now, though.
I am starting to sort-of enjoy aspects of aesthetics, like perspective and colors.
Can someone please suggest a good subreddit? Is there a good class online or otherwise, or maybe a book?
Thanks.
I would've preferred a plot but still I will read it. What about you guys?
Math is beautiful and I'm sure most of you agree with that. However, its beauty is not limited to the logical and axiomatic nature of mathematics, but extends into the visual range of delightful experiences. This leads to my question for you guys. I am looking for beautiful plots of mathematical phenomenas. To give you an idea, an example would be the Lorenz Attractor as a set of ordinary differential equations. Another example, that I know of, are fractals like the Mandelbrot Set.
What equations, sequences, sets or ideas to plot in general can you think of, that look visually appealing to you when being plotted?
I am looking forward to your ideas!
