Elements of art Puns

I think this idea is utterly ridiculous. I don’t like to be that old cliche “political correctness gone mad” person but I really think this is too far. We are fortunate enough to be incredibly close to living in a world where people of other cultures can co-exist peacefully and happily (not quite there yet as some idiots are still racist, homophobic etc. to this day) however, the idea that cultural appropriation is wrong/racist/immoral does nothing to push us further towards peaceful co-existence. In fact, I think it hinders our progress as it promotes cultural segregation. Not the same segregation that African Americans faced until fairly recently or that has plagued South Africa for quite some time, but a milder sort of segregation where people of one culture can not take part in certain activities. As somebody who enjoys visiting other countries and learning about other cultures, I find it hard to understand why people take offence to others being inspired by their culture.

Having said all of this, I do believe that people who promote this idea do so in good faith and I am posting this here in good faith. Hopefully, we can have a mature, respectful discussion about the topic and either end up with my view being changed or me changing the views of others.

Btw I’m not the best at structuring things like this so I may have left out some things that I wanted to say so please excuse me if I bring things up when replying to comments that I hadn’t already mentioned.

For me personally, I always liked the bulkiness of Chief's armour, it was perfectly exemplified when he was staring down Del Rio looking downright menacing.

Also neck guards, Chief's armour and a few other had a small bit of armour sticking up from his chest piece that protected their throats. A small detail, but something I hope carry's over to Halo Infinite in his new armour.

I am using a mixture of black and white and colour text (Vector), and Clip Art (.jpg / bitmap) images in my design, which is going to be printed on a mug.

I cannot stand looking at designs in which the apparent resolution of some or all of the elements varies from element to element - especially when some of the elements in the design look sharp, and other look blurred.

Some of the Clip Art images I am using cannot be traced (either manually or using CorelDraw's auto trace), because they are too complicated to clean up, so I will be using the inferior, .jpg versions.

1. Are there any ways of achieving the appearance of a uniform sharpness of the different elements?
2. When I import lossy images (e.g., .jpg's), should I resample them to a uniform size in order to start at some kind of standardized image resolution?
