A list of puns related to "Trek Bicycle Corporation"
Iβm selling my Trek Domane SL 5 (54) because I barely have time to ride. The bike has been ridden 6 times with the max distance of 6 miles. I bought it 6 months ago brand new and unfortunately its not just taking up space in my apartment. Iβm not sure how to add the pictures but the color two tone grey and orange (most of the body of the bike).
It has never been stored ouside and I have the original receipt as well as the bike is registered under my name on the official Trek website (to verify it is not stolen and I am the first and only owner).
Iβm also throwing in a ton of accessories as an added bonus: kryptonite lock, lights, both sets of pedals, and tire repair kit with extra tube.
Trek Bike Edit: PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE and will include all accessories
Edit #2: the gears are 105
Hi all! I (6ft 180lb male) have a fitness reimbursement available from work beginning January, and I'd like to use it asap on a bicycle. I can max out at 1k. Since it's a reimbursement, I must buy new. I'm looking for something mostly for commuting 4ish miles to work and running errands (groceries, etc) to keep me out of my car when it's not raining hard.
I'm trying to stick to buying from a shop (Seattle area) rather than shipping something, and so far these are the options I'm most considering:
Honestly I'm considering just riding each and going with whats comfortable, I'm under the assumption there isnt that much of a difference between them as they're all in a similar price range, and I'm leaning towards shopping from REI because of their easy customer service.
Anything opinions on a favorite from above, or if there's something else I should re-consider?
Shot in the dark, but if anyone sees a black trek bike with a small travel bag under the seat, holler at me. I'd like it back.
Hey everyone! I am new to the biking world and unfortunately those expensive bikes are out of my price range so I was hoping to find something used. I found one on a thread and negotiated it to $500 so I was wondering your thoughts and opinions. I included pictures. Is this bicycle worth the price? Thank you. Again I'm new to the world so unsure if it is worth the price for a 2008 bike. He said he replaced the seat and the seat alone cost $130. The bicycle overall looks in great condition according to the pictures as well. Thanks again.

Looking to take my cycling a bit more seriously and enter competitions as well as start doing longer rides. I have never gotten fitted before, but given how much time I spend on the bicycle, I figured the $300 price-point is a worthwhile investment in comfort and performance.
I'm looking at the following places that all offer some sort of fitting services:
Sports Basement - https://shop.sportsbasement.com/pages/services-bike
Whole Athlete - https://wholeathlete.com/bike-fitting/our-approach/
Studio Velo - https://www.studiovelocycling.com/fit-studio
Mikes Bikes - https://mikesbikes.com/pages/body-geometry-fit
Trek Bikes - https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/precision_fit/
Fitted by Pedro - https://fittedbypedro.com/
Does anyone have experiences with any of these outfits? Would highly appreciate any recommendations!
This is one of the more important articles I've written. Trek have designed a new bike box, but this one is for D2C. Easy read, please check it out. This can have big bike-market implications.

... keep reading on reddit β‘My Trek bicycle was stolen last night and I thought it might be worth a post here in case someone happens to see it. It is exactly like the picture attached except the handle bars are blue and the back tire is different. I also had a black zipper pouch on the front handle bars.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Hi all,
I have been putting 55 psi in both tires everyday. I feel I shouldnβt have to fill air everyday.
What should be the psi for both tires? I weigh about 270lbs.
Secondly, why do I have to keep filling air daily? That sounds not right.
Blue Trek hybrid. Lights on bars & seat post, seat bag, white water bottle.
Long shot but might as well try. Filing a police report as soon as I get the serial number.

Just what the title says. I used to ride with both the Trek in Arlington and also a few Bikes inc. but now it looks like their website redirects to Trek.
https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/stores/dallasfortworth/
Also is the Trek store in Arlington by River Legacy still there? It's not showing up there.
edit It was in February it looks like, found this on the MBBC page

Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to biking. With that said, I purchased a Cro-moly Multitrack 730 bike that appears to be from the 90's. Unfortunately one of the tires popped and the seat (saddle) is way too uncomfortable, any links to websites or tips on searching for old Trek bicycle parts would be greatly appreciated! Apologies if I'm not using correct terminology I'm a complete bike noob.
Got the news in an email this morning from BSS .......
To our friends in the Austin cycling community,
Since taking the reins at Bicycle Sport Shop 35 years ago, we've been fortunate to find success serving Austinβs cycling community by sharing our passion for riding, putting our customers first, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who visits our stores. But all good things must come to an end, including the very best rides, and the time has come for us to explore different paths in our life adventure.
We have decided to sell Bicycle Sport Shop to Trek Bicycle, as we consider them a partner who shares our values and passion and would be the best future caretakers of our cycling community. Since our partnership began in 1988, Trek has proven to be composed of people as dedicated to helping others discover the joy of cycling as we are, and we share their commitment to the bicycle as a tool for enhancing peopleβs lives. We are confident Trek will take what we've created and continue to build upon itβserving and supporting our community in even bigger and better ways while remaining dedicated to our core values of treating people like family and delivering outstanding hospitality.
There will of course be some changes, but the shopβs commitment to Austinβs cycling community will be as strong and steadfast as ever in supporting your cycling journey. Our same great team of friendly, knowledgeable bicycle experts is looking forward to welcoming you on your next visit and showing you all of the new and exciting things in store!
The past 35 years have been incredible, and we owe that to each and every one of you! Bicycle Sport Shop wouldnβt be what it is without your support, and we thank you for helping to make it such a special part of Austin.
Itβs time to ride!
