I just received a sample of this in the mail, I am a big fan instantly. Gives me futuristic yet natural vibes. Think of a cyborg. To my nose personally, this fragrance smells of green melon, cold aluminum, slight cucumber, and slight spice. Definitely for spring and summer. Am looking forward to a perfume version!

• Stitching - This bag is 100% handmade. Inside and outside stitches (even on the clochette strap) are mostly symmetrical and have a good angle. I'd REALLY like the stitches to be closer to each other (-0.5).
• Pearling - I don't really care about it but here on RL it seems to be a big deal. hahah In this bag the pearling is present, whether it's perfect or not I'm not sure, but it looks ok.

I have mixed feelings about this bag. I'd really like to say that I'm in love with it, but actually I'm finding it... meh. I recently thought of buying an authentic Kelly, and I'm glad I didn't. First, because despite knowing about the "investment bag" thing (inexplicable - yes, honestly, there's nothing special about them), I think it's pointless to buy a bag and be afraid of wearing it so as not to damage it, otherwise it loses its value. I really like Birkins so I wear them without thinking about reselling, but a Kelly would be in part an investment. Second, and the main thing: now I know that this design is not really my style. • Construction: Usually in semi-manual crafted bags just the external stitches are handmade, but in this bag they are (too) perfect - so I believe that only a few details were hand-sewn. As I didn't ask the seller exactly how the bag was produced, I won't deduce any points here.
• Hardware: Nice and bright. I don't think the pearling is real, though. (-0.2)
• Leather: I love the structure of epsom leather, but I don't really like the touch (not even in the auth bags). In this one it looks a bit more artificial and dry, and I don't like the smell of it.. it's a little plasticky in general (-0.5)
• Stamp: It's not perfect, but it's fine. Correct font. Here I really don't get too picky because even the real ones have really messy stamps sometimes, so I won't demand too much of reps.

I’m extremely happy with the Barenia Birkin. The quality is absolutely magnificent.

I have to say that I also own many authentic Birkins and Kellys. So I would consider myself fairly experienced when it comes to Hermès.

I know that even the authentic bags have inconsistencies like slightly uneven stitching, stamp not crisp etc.

Since Steven had to custom order my bag it took a little longer to manufacture. But he informed me beforehand. So I was aware of the time it will take to manufacture the bag.

Review:

I was originally looking for a Birkin in 25 or 30 in Etain and Rose Gold hardware. I knew how long it takes Steven's factory to make the bags (last time I waited a month and half for my Lindy 30). So when he showed me he had this Birkin 25 in Etain but GHW, I fell in love with the look and OK'ed it after seeing the PSPs.

I do not own an auth Birkin to compare but I do have an auth picotin 22 in black TC leather. Keep that in mind as I cannot do a 1:1 comparison.

Quality : 9.75/10

Leather: This overall quality is incredible. Upon unboxing, it had a very nice leather smell. Slightly different from auth Hermes

I want to do something for Hermès. I’m not a follower but I’ve debated becoming Hellenistic for awhile. This morning I was a tad late for school, and hit every green light on the way. One light was red and had a bit of traffic but was timed so perfectly, it turned green before I came to a full stop and turned orange right as I crossed the intersection.

seems to refer to a triangle of wisdom or wisdom of the triangle. (المثلّث بالحكمة). What could this be referring to?

I was on the hunt for a blue Birkin for a very long time. I simply couldn’t find a shade of blue that I liked. But finally after many trips to the store and hours on Pinterest I found my dream shade of blue. It’s called „Blue Brighton“. It’s a warm shade of blue with a tiny hint of lilac in it. The color looks different in every light.

Thought I might make a post with my thoughts on these! I first tried 'Un Jardin Sur le Nil' and quickly fell in love. So much so that I wanted to smell the rest of the line to see if I'd love them just as much.

'Un Jardin Sur le Nil' - I really love this one, I think it still has to be my favourite. The zingyness of the grapefruit in the opening is energising, with a slight hint of the mango appearing shortly after. It dried down after half an hour or so, leaving behind a light, pleasant floral. Full bottle worthy.

'Un Jardin Sur le Toit' - This was my partner's favourite, which he described as 'smelling just like the outdoors'. I agree! Lots of rosemary, something lightly floral, soil maybe, but also.. an odd sour note. I sniffed my wrists a lot that morning trying to figure out what it was and by the description I think it's the 'compost' note. Just like the outdoors indeed.

'Un Jardin Sur la Lagune' - My nose clearly still has some work to do, the overarching impression I got was 'very fancy hotel soap with a hint of something salty'. This one had the largest sillage and lasted the longest on my skin. Reminded me of the one time I licked a bar of soap to see if it tasted good. Might get another sample of this if I finish it.

'Un Jardin en Mediterranee' - From the very beginning this smelled very strongly of juniper. Very woody, maybe even a bit of pine. Like accidentally walking into a cypress tree, getting a face full of twigs and spilling your gin on yourself. I didn't get any citrus from this one.

'Un Jardin Apres la Mousson' - This was my least favourite, but I'm not a fan of spicy scents. Lots of cardamom going on, lots of black pepper and coriander. I was surprised by how distinctly you can get the black pepper from it. Needless to say, it didn't remind me of the smell of petrichor at all, which is what I was hoping for.

'Le Jardin de Monsieur Li' - A lovely light, but indistinct citrus opening which dries down to a lighter citrus with a hint of jasmine. I wish it lasted a little longer on my skin, this one had the least longevity at less than three hours for a hefty spray.

In conclusion, the Jardin line is quite varied, and will probably have something for everyone (though it is missing any sort of gourmand note). Very easy to 'get' for the most part, with some really great citrus and green notes.

In terms of quality, I plan to evaluate the leather, hardware, and stitches. I'm not 100% sure about the materials.

• leather:

Compared with the lindy mini (Clemence) leather I bought before, the togo leather is harder and has a stronger weight.Not sure if it is 100% Togolese leather, because there are too few cow neck patterns (-0.2). There is a special fragrance after getting it, I am very satisfied. There are also irregular and uniform particles, the surface is shiny, and pores can be vaguely seen. I have a magnifying glass at home so I can observe it when the time comes.

• Canvas:

Texture of the canvas inside looks perfect and feels good. I don't know the correct standard, but there are some small protrusions in it, which need to be deducted (0.2).

• Hardware:

Gloss of the hardware is uniform and textured, and the lettering on it is clear and neat, and it is finely polished. The low groove has a beautiful matte texture, but the ring closure in the hardware on both sides is defective (-0.5).
