I'm really curious about how most of you go about your anal hygiene (washer vs wiper).
I was born into a Muslim family and some might find this gross but we're taught from childhood to wash instead of wipe so that meanings running water over our anus and using a couple fingers to rub off any particles that might be there. Followed up by dry patting it with a tissue paper (but this last part is optional).

Hear me out, because I thought this was strange as well. Literally every source I read on anal hygiene says to use no soap whatsoever in the area, when showering. That the area is self-cleaning, and warm water and a pat-dry is enough.

Not sure where to ask this, but I'm having a serious problem. I'm really hairy, and no matter what I do I can't seem to get completely clean after a bowel movement.

So I've recently purchased my first dildo last week and have used it 3 times now. I make sure to clean it with soap and water before and after every time I use it, but this time unlike previous uses I noticed that it's picked up an odor that's sticking this time around. I have contamination OCD, urine and fecal matter are the primary triggers.
